I've been dyeing my brows for years. My husband laughs because he says I look like Groucho Marx without the tash! He has a valid point. I usually do them when im not planning on going out for a couple of days because it gives any little errors time to fade away with the help of a good cleanser.
@Tori_Hunter5 ай бұрын
If you find the tint is staining your skin and making your brows look too big you can apply a vaseline around the shape - that will act as a barrier and not allow the tint to stain or go outside of the brow hairs 👍 Also professional tint ranges these days have more shades so you can get a better colour mix

I think she’s talking about dying her eyebrows. I don’t think she’s talking about tinting them because my husband tells me the same thing I look like grab your marks when I dye my eyebrows I like dark eyebrows maybe I should figure out how to tent them. maybe that’s more healthy than using die.
@LaureeHammel4 ай бұрын
How often do you have to do this procedure? Is it the same thing as when you die your eyebrows the same amount of time when you tent them in between
@Tori_Hunter4 ай бұрын
@user-ul5ou4vn1r this is a pro eyebrow tint and I do always refer to it as tinting but could say dyeing. But you’d have a very different outcome if you used hair or beard dye. This tint is mixed for custom colours and is designed for use just on brows. Usually 4-6 weeks is an approximate time you’d leave between treatments. Hope that helps 😊

I work in an express spa that expects us to complete a brow tint and wax and tweeze, with clean up included, all in 30 minutes. Do you believe this should be possible on all people regardless of gray hair or difficult brows?
@Tori_Hunter7 күн бұрын
For my typical brow tint and wax I would book 30mins but this would include a wax under the brow only and no additional services such as trimming or brow mapping/design. I use a fast developing tint so 20 mins is all I would need for a standard tint and wax, that then allows me 10mins for cleaning, change over and tool sanitisation. For my signature brow treatment which includes mapping, tint, waxing, threading and finessing I allow 45 mins. However I do have over 10 years experience & definitely used to be much slower. Also most of my clients are regulars. I book an extra 15 mins for first time/new clients. Hope this helps 🙂

Hi Tori, I enjoyed your video. The transformation of her eyebrows made a wonderful difference in her appearance. I would appreciate your opinion on my question: if you trim or nip off some of the length of your eyebrow hair, will it grow back to the length it was previously? Thank you.
@Tori_Hunter4 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for your lovely comment about the treatment results. I do sometimes lightly trim brows to help them maintain their shape between treatments but yes the hair will grow back to its original length. That’s my experience as 10 years as a brow specialist. Hope that helps 😊 thanks
@jnova33284 ай бұрын
@@Tori_Hunter Thank you so much for your quick response, I appreciate your expertise! I'm sorry for another question but here goes, does the trimmed eyebrow hair grow back to its original shape and what is the approximate amount of time for that to happen? I understand that it will grow back to its original length but does it come back into its original shape? Thank you😊
@Tori_Hunter4 ай бұрын
@jnova3328 in my experience yes it grows back exactly the same after being trimmed. What does change is the hair growth pattern after waxing for sometime. I have clients that we have trained their brows where to grow however this is not an exact science and does differ from person to person. Hope that’s helpful 🤞
@jnova33284 ай бұрын
@@Tori_Hunter Very helpful Tori, thank you! I live in the US. I wish I lived in your area, I would definitely schedule to have a consultation with you. I thought I would explain the reason for my previous questions. I have never had any professional work done on my brows, until recently, including waxing. The only thing I have done to my brows is to tweeze the areas in between my eyebrows, and the area underneath my eyebrows, and remove a few stray hairs where my eyebrow ended. I never changed my natural arch or the shape of my eyebrows. I recently had the not-so-bright idea to have a consultation with a (25 year) professional to find out how to extend the ends of my brows that became a tiny bit sparse and to find out why some of my brow hairs are becoming thicker and unruly and even stick out a bit or become bent (she said it is caused by hormones). I also wanted advice and to purchase from her a product that could tame the unruly hairs when they appear. I told the owner who did the work on my brows that I didn't want to change the shape of my brows and never would change my natural arch. I agreed to have her tweeze a few hairs to even out the area between my eyes put some product into my brows to tame 2 unruly thicker hairs, fill in the ends (not much was needed in that area), and do an eyebrow tint (the color she used was extremely dark and looked bad). She did half of what we agreed upon but she did trim down to half the original size of my left eyebrow (changing and ruining my natural shape and full arch). Both of my eyebrows always matched and were the same size and shape. She was fast, I didn't realize what she was doing until I looked in the mirror. I paid her and left immediately knowing that I would never return. Before I looked in the mirror, she asked me several times to schedule dermaplaning. She didn't do the same thing to my right eyebrow, she left it alone. I am so grateful that she didn't ruin both eyebrows. My bangs are long and fall in place more to the left side so they are for the most part covering the odd-looking left eyebrow. I need a haircut but I'm waiting because if my bangs are cut it will expose my weird-looking left eyebrow. I'm wondering if I should be using a product on my left eyebrow to help the hairs grow back to the length they were previously.
@Tori_Hunter4 ай бұрын
@jnova3328 oh no so sorry to hear you’ve had a bad brow experience. It’s how I actually first got into being a brow artist - someone threaded off far too much of one eyebrow 😭 It shouldn’t take too long for your brows to grow back in and hopefully they will be back to full and symmetrical 🤞 good luck - you can always try massaging an oil into the area, it promotes circulation and blood flow which in turn helps encourage hair growth. A coconut, jojoba or rosemary are all good options but it’s the massaging rather than the oil that is the thing that really helps.

I love the way her eyebrows came out. I don’t understand There’s no hair there and you tinted them and all of a sudden she looks like she has hair. I don’t understand that anyway I dye my eyebrows myself they look good but would it be more healthy to tint them less chemicals or am I wrong which is better to die them do they last the same amount of time when you tint them instead of dying them I use root touchup on my eyebrows. I love dark eyebrows very youthful looking specially, if you don’t wear any make up, which I don’t wear any, so it gives you a little bit of a boost

Thanks for your comment. I take time to design every persons brows based on their face shape, colourings and personal style.

I do not even wear make up. What you see is what you get! I have a busy, happy day and do enjoy nice clothes and have no problem with my natural face. My only vanity involves tinting my hair a natural shade every two months. It is thick and still lustrous as I wash it only occasionally! Having said this this ladies brows do look nice. I would only perhaps use a soft brown pencil but probably will not bother.

Thanks so much for your comment. Yes it's definitely important to tailor brow colour depending on your personal undertones and colourings and if you don't have gaps or sparse brows then yes why bother with make up at all 😊✨

Don't such youthful, broad eyebrows look unnatural on an older face? But if the lady wants it that way, then of course it's OK. For me, that would be too much.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I think adding definition to her features with the brows helps maintain a beautifully youthful appearance but yes of course this would depend on your features, natural colourings and so on and wouldn't suit everyone. The important thing about brow treatments is they should be tailored for each person and not a one size fits all 👍

@@Tori_Hunter Thank you for your answer! Speaking for myself: I'm over seventy and at that age you don't have eyebrows like that anymore. If they're painted on, you can see straight away that they're not real. So I draw thinner, less even eyebrows to make them look more natural. Have a nice Sunday! Greetings from Germany!

Natural look..yes..but what the point to dye your brows and still pencil it afterwards to get the finishing look.you might as well use the pencil from the start.

The few hair strokes I add at the end are optional to fill gaps, I don’t take makeup and pencil all the way through the brows.

I had my eyebrows done last year & the lady who did it completely change its shape & made it thicker. Is it possible to erase & re do it? I don't feel happy with a real thick & dark eyebrows I feel like a different person on the mirror.😢😢😢😢

Yes absolutely. Eyebrows can be designed and styled depending on the individual (or at least should be). You want to find a brow artist or specialist that knows about design and mapping and then listens to what it is you want. Good luck x
