GRACE - you MUST review/try the afternoon tea at the Savoy Hotel in London !!!! I went there with my mum for my 21st birthday and it was the most amazing ecperience of my life vibes, food, service EVERYTHING 10/10 so much tea to choose from and the atmosphere was STUNNING they even had a live pianist you would LOVE it

My best friend and I took our first trip to London a few months ago and I had a whole list of afternoon tea places to decide between. A lot of places ended up being booked up so we ended up at The Royal Lancaster (which wasn’t at the top of my list). However, the food and the service was amazing and we were blown away and really enjoyed ourselves. I would love to hear you do a review of the place to see how it comes in your mind since we had no other afternoon tea experiences in London to compare it to and I’ve seen some of your other videos of places you tried/tested

I went for the best afternoon tea ever, not in London, but highly recommend, particularly at Christmas, as the decorations were stunning, plus the view of the grounds were stunning - The Manor House Castle Combe ! Try it it’s fabulous

Every time my mate and I go for afternoon tea, to avoid any argument, I do cream then preserves on one half of the scone, and preserves then cream on the other half - a bit of afternoon tea diplomacy. Cheers! By the way, the AT on the Sunborn Yacht Hotel at the Excel Centre is worth the trip to the East End. We were there for comic con and took a break with a sumptuous afternoon tea, impeccable service, just a fun time.

If you ever revisit the USA I highly recommend afternoon tea at The French Room in Dallas, Texas. It’s inside a hotel called The Adolphus and its room is gorgeous

Tea in a library is a dream of mine. It reminds me of Alexia Tarabotti from Gail Carriger's Soulless series. I am sad that the food wasn't good and there was a shocking lack of treacle tart.

I’m from Ireland but we got an afternoon tea at the D hotel on groupon for €25 each and it included Prosecco! Was absolutely fab too. You find great deals on there. Was €40 of you book directly through hotel so saved a bit

I’ve been to the Lanesborough, and requested tea, sandwiches and just a couple of cakes. If anyone thinks that’s all they require, it comes at a considerably lower cost and was very nice.

You might take your mom and dad to the Mandarin tea next time! It'd make a great treat for them. The Library has such a lovely room, it's a shame about the sandwiches. I hope they get the message. out of all the afternoon teas I've had, I have to say my favourite one was The Clermont at Charing Cross. I was able to snatch it from Groupon so it wasn't that expensive, and you can choose to have prosecco included if you drink, which they kept refilling without a problem! so, if anyone's in London, I greately recommend it :)

If you put the cream on first you limit what jam can be added and you smoosh all the air out of your cream and make it nothing except only it’s flavour You need to keep the air in it by adding it gently on top and the textual difference and moisture to your mouth aswell is amazing

That is so disappointing about The Library! I had the Afternoon Tea with free flowing Champagne there a few years ago and it was fabulous! The service was really really good and the food was amazing - although I had the regular menu as I visited in the springtime. Hopefully it is just the festive menu that is a bit disappointing and the quality of the regular menu hasn't dropped. I guess I have to try the Lanesborough next!

I agree. Wish they would have veg options. These afternoon tea look fantastic but probably have meat and egg which is not possible for me being vegetarian 😢
