Set a limit on the current wage of the players being scouted.

I would use the player search and look for players on less wages and with less value, they usually take less playing time.

Question im with Shrewsbury and transfer window is open, need a couple of players in before start of season, how can i get a decent player in, i have a low wage and transfer budget?

Keep an eye on your own players and how much they are earning, usually if a player is on 1k a week, you could sell and find 2 as good on 500 a week.

Question, 2nd season Southend after promotion to L2. No I have 2 ESC spots for foreign players. When I fill up these spots, how do I get them back. Selling the player? Will you get new ones every season? I don’t want to waste them. Thanks keep up the good work!

I think you get more as you go up the divisions but the only way of getting them back is selling them mate yes. Thank you for the comment too! 👍

Looks good! This is primarily for finding youth by the looks of things? How would you do it if you was looking for certain positions for your team/tactic? I've been trying to look at inverted Right back's for my aston villa save and really struggling to find anyone other than Juan Foyth haha

Set up a recruitment focus with DR ticked on the left and then pick the role underneath. Set it up with what ability and potential you're looking for, go under what you think so the scouts give you more reports back. Alternatively just go into play search and pick the attributes you want.

Okay thanks, appreciate the reply! I have attribute masking on and I've just started the save. I assume I'll have to wait a little while before I get good options from player search picking attributes? Atm a lot of good options would be missed off because I've not scouted them?@@LewisH90

So if you are in championship say and you don’t have scouting knowledge of a country and your scout hasn’t got knowledge of there but he has knowledge of countries close to the one you don’t have knowledge of and has high adaptability can you send him there to gain knowledge without having to bring in a scout with prior knowledge of that country? Yes Manny, high adaptability is the best if a scout has no knowledge of a country, they will learn it a LOT quicker.

That improves as your stadium does so ask for more seats or a new stadium.

Thanks for that, well done. I am struggling with finding players especially in Africa or Asia even though I have loaded an advanced data setup with around 120K players (incl. players for all first division teams of all countries in all continents). I have an African scout with high adaptability and I keep the threshold low (3-5 silver stars CA; 3 stars PA), but almost nobody comes around. I obviously have full scouting package and great world knowledge. I dont't get it ;-)

I find those are the hardest areas to find players in too! I find it best to look there manually in their U21, U19 national teams.

No I never use it, whenever I have down I have noticed less players or you forget to restart it. Ongoing just looks after itself.
