Hard to say, as I don't know what type of stain it is, and how bad it is. You would have to try. Take a leather brush, and leather cleaner, and go to town. Multiple applications are sometimes needed. See my leather care tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqeue4t9h9OYgMk

I clean my interior about once per month, and have no kids or anything to make it too too dirty, but let me tell you that P&S Interior Cleaner is legit. I dilute it 3:1 and it still has crazy foaming/cleaning action. Smells like artificial cherry candy. The price is amazing too. I bought the gallon for $23, and since I dilute it, I'll have this stuff for years to come. Best part about it compared to most APCs out there is that there is no residue (even at full strength) so you can get a great finish after topping it with 303 or VRP!!

Go for other budget kits! And show us engine cleaning kits. In my opinion engine cleaning especially for old cars is most responsible job. You can easily harm electronics. So it would be awesome if you show that type of products you spray onto connections then on engine itself and so on. I saw people using some type of stuff which is sprayed before cleaning the engine which is “pushing” out water.

"It goes to level eleven!" Classic line in a movie I was just watching! By the way the only product I disagree about is the 303 aerospace. I haven't had any luck with that product on my dash nor the exterior trim. It worked well on the door interiors and the middle console. It doesn't work well on the dash because it never went on evenly and it took 6 months for the product to wear down until the uneven color looked even finally.

Since I already have VRP from the exterior detail package, can I just use that as a protectant on the interior rubber, vinyl/synthetic leather seats?
@brandenlucero4 жыл бұрын
You can. Both 303 protectant ("aerospace" white bottle and blue bottle are basically the same product) and VRP are water-based. But from what i read, VRP can cause streaking if applied to exterior trim when it rains as it seems to wash off easily. Therefore, i only use it on my tires and engine bay. I use 303 protectant for all exterior trim and practically all interior. But that's just my usage. Mileage my vary.
@CheapestWayToTravelH4 жыл бұрын
Branden Lucero Are there any streaking with VRP on interior as well? Or will it be fine since it likely won’t get wet?
@brandenlucero4 жыл бұрын
@@CheapestWayToTravelH It should be fine. I would just avoid getting it wet when it's applied just in case something might happen. VRP doesn't leave any streaking at least if it remains dry and it doesn't feel "greasy" which i like. I tried Meguiar's Ultimate Black and while it made things look nice, it was super greasy feeling so i stopped using it (even though they claim that it's non-greasy).

Yes, for regular consumers, this is good: amzn.to/3o5Dnff If you want a higher end pro grade product, still simple to use and inexpensive, this is my current go-to: bit.ly/3bMkTNF To get the most effective cleaning, you spray it on the surface, and agitate with a drill brush attachment like this: bit.ly/3nNGFDK Mop up with a microfiber towel when done. Ideally, you would follow up with a carpet and upholstery extractor to do a deeper clean and thorough job, depending of how bad the stains are. Thoughts on Maguiars apc on carpets? Wilson auto detailing has a video saying its great for it and that u dont need a dedicated carpet shampoo product but then i also just watched AmmoNYC who says never use it on carpets. Id love to hear what you think?
@PanTheOrganizer3 жыл бұрын
The Meguiar's APC is a great APC but like most APCs used on carpets and fabrics, because of the alkaline nature, it can leave residue behind and that chemistry will oxidize and turn brown over time. So you would need to use a carpet extractor to neutralize the APC after using it, if you want to go that route. Hence why Larry (AMMO) prefers using dedicated carpet/upholstery cleaners when possible (I also work that way).

P&S Express interior can also be used on headliner I've found out quite by accident. I was cleaning a filthy and very large SUV recently, well, just as I thought I'd finally finished the behemoth I glanced up and saw several spots on the headliner I reached up almost in desperation with the boars hair brush I was using on the vinyl with some Express still in it and attacked a small greasy lookin spot and much to my surprise it disappeared! I continued on spraying Express on several spots and gently massaging in with a boar's hair brush and wiping gently with a clean microfiber and voila the spots continued to disappear thus proving my theory that the combo of Express and boars hair brush were indeed cleaning the stray spots! I was most pleasantly surprised and finished up the detail quickly in this manner. Thought you'd all like to know this little "trick/shortcut" I stumbled on my accident. Happy accident it was too...

Hey pan I’m deciding to purchase car pro pearl or not and was wondering if it can restore exterior trims as well as be used as an interior dressing ? Or if I should buy a separate product for exterior and interior.
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
It’s more of a protection and dressing type product, not really a trim restorer. You would dilute it 5:1 for interior use and 3:1 for exterior use and 1:1 for tires. As mentioned on the label. For exterior trim restoration, use something like Cerakote or the product I reviewed here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGfFaX97jNyemZI

Hi Pan, Have you tested Alcantera cleaning and protection products? If so, which video should I view. Thanks in advance, and keep up the great work.

G'day, I've been enjoying some of your videos, and have learned a lot. I have a couple questions for you... Being an Aussie, not all products are available here, but I'm sure there's plenty that are similar. I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland which has leather seats, but they have pin holes as they have a fan in the seats for ventilation/cooling. Many of the leather products are creams, which clog up the holes easily, and I'm not wanting to sit there cleaning the holes, that would take forever lol. Do you have any suggestions for any products that won't clog the holes? I'm not sure if you have seen the vacuum cleaner attachment with all the thin tubes or not? I've found that one of those is excellent for getting into tight spots, and they are great at vacuuming dust without disturbing other things in the area. Great for places with delicate parts. Another topic that I would love to see (if you haven't already covered it in another video) is cleaning, and protecting a 4x4. I got the Jeep as my previous car is too thirsty when pulling our caravan. Yeah, the V8 tows nicely, and I don't even notice the van on the road, I do notice it when filling up. So I got the Jeep, which is awesome, and even has more luxury than my (dream) car, and being a 4x4, I'm going to join the Jeep club and do some off road trips, but coming home, I would like to clean it easily, so it doesn't look like it's been off-road. Cheers mate 👍

I bought a Lilly brush after seeing what magic it can do with dog hair and carpet/seats. I actually bought it for my horses..... And while I do own dogs they do not shed much. I use it to remove the embedded horse hair in my saddle pads before I go to clean them. The embedded hair in the wool pads can be a nightmare to get out but the Lilly brush (and a good vacuum) makes quick work of it.

Ok please dont laugh but I'm new to this "detailing" thing. Any tips for a total newbe?

Yes. You should start with the basics: a regular car wash with correct methods. I have a tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqbKlYate56Xb9k

Meguiars Foam Tire Protectant is magic on an engine. I go to a car wash with the engine running spray the engine down with tire cleaner let it sit for a few minutes. Spray off the cleaner with a gentle setting then spray down the entire engine compartment with the foam cleaner. Looks like it cam from the factory when it dries. The protectant keeps hoses, plastic components, wiring harnesses protected for months. The process takes about 15 to 20 minutes tops.

Question unrelated to this video. Is it ok to put a caranuba spray wax over a cars paint that has been washed with CarPro ECH2O? I want to put protection on the car that won't last a long time because I'm going to do a paint correction on it in a few weeks.

I purchased a slightly used car that has a white stain in the seats that I cant get out. I tried steaming it out, shampooing it, etc and still there when dry. Do you have any suggestions?
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
Hard to say without seeing the stain or knowing what kind of stain it is. But you might need to do several rounds of an upholstery cleaner and drill attachment brush, followed by extraction with an extractor. Watch a video I made showing how: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWayeZmvi6t5orc

Hey Pan. Can you discuss with us who are new to the detailing world how to properly remove beach sand from the interior? It is maddening at best.😫
@miragexl0072 жыл бұрын
Best things. Brushes for your drill, and super clean diluted three different ways for everything from tires to all interior. It's been great. Best tip from all the details. All that other stuff that has to be ordered or more expensive.. I found not needed so far

Hey Pan! Why instead of promoting products you create your own brand. Your community is big enough to create a brand and expand...
