So, found out recently that the lady who got really brutally attacked in Jurassic World originally wasn't supposed to be the one to get that, but the actress actually was really, really hyped about it and wanted to be the one attacked. Which, I've always found that scene silly, but... heck, you go queen, live your dreams I guess! I respect the dedication!

If you rewatch the chase scene with the rex, you’ll be able to see that they couldn’t escape because Muldoon wasn’t able to get the car in the right gear. In other words, he couldn’t make it go faster than a threshold, so the rex was able to keep up.

There is a short film that was released called battle at big rock. It takes place after the events of fallen kingdom where a family tries to survive a dinosaur attack while camping in the woods somewhere in northern California. Its actually really well done with practical animatronics and cgi dinos. It has a horror tone reminiscent of Jurassic park.

They explain the 2nd island a bit better in the book. Creating the dinosaur embryos is such a difficult technology to utilize that it has a high failure rate. So they have to make GIANT batches just to have a few viable embryos. The 2nd island is the giant, ugly industrial farm that produces only a few viable eggs, then some of those eggs are taken to the boutique lab on the main island which is the pretty face of how the work is done. The boutique lab is just a show for investors and tourists.

Not sure where you got the info on the Jurassic Park III director, but that was Joe Johnston, who'd already directed Honey I Shrunk the Kids, October Sky, The Rocketeer and Jumanji by the time he did Jurassic Park III. He went on to direct Captain America: The First Avenger. He got his start in VFX and art design on the original Star Wars trilogy, as well as Raiders of the Lost Ark. To my knowledge, he did not work on the first Jurassic Park film.

Lex was fumbling for the switch to turn off the flashlight. She wasn't waving it around on purpose. Also, when people are scared shitless they can't think straight most of the time, unless they have training to deal with extreme situations. So, covering up the light until she found the switch didn't occur to her.

I used to think she initially grabbed the flashlight because she was a kid and it was dark, to kinda ward off the fear with light. But now I think maybe she was trying to signal to the other car? Being a scared kid, she wasn't thinking straight, like you say. (And then, yeah, the light was waving around because Lex and Tim are fighting over it, fumbling to switch it off like you say.)

The T-Rex Vision thing has always been funny to me because it's very probably that T-Rex's had the best eyesight of any organism ever. Eyesight is actually generally associated with the size of the eye or at least that determines the upper limit for their capacity. And T-Rex may have had the biggest eyes of any predator that uses vision that we have ever found.

A correction: Jurassic Park III wasn’t Joe Johnston’s first movie in the director’s chair nor was he an AD in the previous two films. He had been a director for years at that point with titles such as “Honey, I shrunk the kids”,“The Rocketeer”, and “Jumanji” under his belt. So it wasn’t a ‘big jump’ that he took on the job.

A stupid thing in my opinion in JP2: LW, that guy gets killed by pigeon dinosaurs but Malcolm's daughter, uses gymnastics to can kick Raptors out of existence! Edit: JW has the original JP visitor centre and somehow the jeeps! Just need a battery change 😂 yeah, sure! Okay! Because that makes sense. And Claire runs away from a T-Rex in high heels 😂😂

My problem with the Indoraptor being a hybrid is the indomitous was already a raptor hybrid which was why they listened to it in the previous movie so you have something that's a hybrid with a species it was already a hybrid with making it closer to that species.

Fun Fact: The power went out at the theater where I went to go watch Jurassic World Dominion and so I had to wait to watch the rest of the movie just to find out that it sucked.

Never got criticism for JP 2 and the howl San Diego scenes, it was great, more realistic then anything we're getting these days, and it's not a meal, you can have a bit extra.

As dumb as it may have been, as a kid, the San Diego part of Lost World was easily the best past of the film. Now that I’m older, I wish they had simply adapted the book, and went for the hard R rating the book would call for.

Hey guys big fan of the channel..pitch meeting is so good..i get the problems with these movies but as a kid u dont care, plus Dinosaurs and we all love Dinos especially back then..For me i loved Jurassic Park 3, i was into it more then Jurassic Park 2 to be honest..I liked the darker tone, i do remember as a kid getting annoyed by the woman screaming all the time, i mean ur on a island of Dinosaurs, my assumption was always maybe she just thinks Dinosaurs were completely deaf..I did hate Jurassic World though, i remember watching with my brother in theatres and we were both laughing about how bad it was. It was just a more dumbed down remake of the first Jurassic Park...sequel was very entertaining and last one barely involved Dinosaurs for some reason.. Anyway enjoyed ur reactions..

The pteranodons leaving the island is actually addressed in a novel called Flyers. It was quite the shitshow.

13:50 So that scene with the trailer gave me nightmares as a kid. But that bald guy was also super brave and his death was sad. I think it was in the book, if I remember correctly. The books are actually way better. And there's only 2 books because SPOILER The government burns the island to the ground with napalm.

'nother plot hole (I love JP, tbc) is how long is take for a dinosaur to grow to maturity? Elephants take 16+ years...so how long has the park secretly been in development?

The T-Rex enclosure never really bothered me. the area they were pulled up next to wide a pretty wide expanse so it isn't a big stretch to imagine part of it has a vertical wall while another section has terrain built up like a ramp or just a concrete ramp section they built for the T-rex to walk up for the feeding demonstration with the goat
