Sadly you can't use that module on yourself, you would need someone else to hit you with it

At least for the KDF side I find the Gorn are most optimized for ground melee with their trait. Also, a very speedy melee weapon are the Dual Nanopulse Mek'leths from the mission "Khitomer Discord". When the first KDF recruit event happened there was a worry that they'd be nerfed since they killed so fast. There's also a mission set on Nimbus, sorry forgot the mission's name, where one can plays in the arena & it'll continue to spawn npcs to kill. That's how I earned the 2500 kills rather quickly.

I was planning to rock a build simialr to this when i first started playing the game as a gorn but didnt have the knowlegde to pull it off, I had been told to rock the mind meld device and disco set but didnt even understand the rep system at the time. Looking forward to starting the klingon event today to put some of my newer knowledge to use

For tactical captains Sweeping Strikes MkXV ultra rare does 655 damage at 358 kit performance and can hit multiple opponents so at least 655 DPS. It does use a kit module slot but i think the trade for an extra damage over a melee weapon is worth it, since my Bat'lath is only doing 272 DPS.

Tbh I couldn’t tell you exactly, but with knowledge of the game most of the time it’s not the actual weapon that’s makes the difference it’s the underlying buffs to the weapon that make a massive difference

Ummm, you could still do it, but you'd lose that tac modules that gives you some nice buffs, but there are some sci modules that give debuff and can control without doing damage, so there would be a way, id have to give it some more though but responding to this at 4am Australian time.

What are the Ground Skills you use (Skills -> Ground)? sto-better doesn't have any melee guides apparently, so I have no clue what's best here. TYTY!
