Where on the Chowan are you fishing? I've put my boat in at Shoup's Landing, and gone North into Potecasi Creek, but did not have much success there. If you are down south of Winton, how far and where did you catch em?

Between Shoups and holiday island. The creeks are usually the best this time of year.

Chowan River has been loaded with Bass . Redman bass tournament series used to fish here back in the 80s it used to be tons of military bass clubs that come up here from Jacksonville, North Carolina Pope Air Force Base and Fort Bragg, North Carolina military Bass used to fish the chow all the time all them stumps around it
