Would this shock be good for a clad Zilla RC truck it was a cloud cluster but then I got all the tubular chassis for the truck has big tires really flexible and I'm looking for something to light dress it up and have better suspension with it Please comment back thank you very much

I bough some RC4WD KING piggyback shocks, do you think performance only wise these are better than the king shocks?
@JPRC8 жыл бұрын
+humanx187 the RC4WD kings have a fake (faux) reservoir while these have a real functional reservoir. So you can adjust the damping rate on the fly with these while the RC4WD are fixed rate. so IMO these are way better :)

Nice shocks id like to get a set for my scx10 2 raw builders kit but i wont get for a bit and i was wonderin what size should i get tu for any input
@JPRC6 жыл бұрын
Sam Rebert get them for the look only if you are doing a dual shock setup. These don’t do much for performances.
@samrebert64106 жыл бұрын
Ok tu for the input do u know of any that would b good and if so what size ive been told the stock ones r 90mm and also herd there 100mm tu for your help
@JPRC6 жыл бұрын
Sam Rebert proline scaler or traxxas trx4 shock takeoffs (from eBay) and use with stocks axial springs and 10w oil are great competition crawling.

It's not true dual rate without a stopper for the slider to engage the second rate.

@SoTwissted8 жыл бұрын
there tiny! I run big bore 1/8 scale shocks on my Axial Bomber. I also relocated the shocks over the rear axle so that I get more control and also less stress on the lower arms and this removes the need for sway-bars also.

Hello Joe, I notice that when I set these up the hose balloons almost twice its size and the clear hose actually herniated near the hose clamp from pressure. Have you experienced this on yours

These should be similar to the rc4wd King shock with a smaller bore. They are made for crawlers but they will be ok for a double up setup on your yeti

Hey bud nice videos. What shocks would u recommend for the score trophy truck ?
@JPRC8 жыл бұрын
The only after market shock for the score is proline xt. These could only be fitted as nice lookers with the cbe shock keys. They won't be strong enough for the score by itself.

WAY late to the party haha! I'm new to the crawler scene. Actually, I'm new to the RC car scene all together! Been flying drones for years. Something new. I looked at prices, 49 dollars for FOUR of these shocks? Thats cheaper than anything I've found on the market.....are they really that good?

Best piggy back shocks are the ones from MCD for 1/5 scale . They are true piggy shocks . Hell they are more like Moto cross shocks then rc. These are just bling more then function. The mcd shocks are function and bling

@JPRC8 жыл бұрын
+蔡又紅 the front of yeti can take 106 MM, but the rear are not long enough you have to use CBE shock tap for the rear to extend the shocks, ckrchobbies.com/products/cbe-cbe-yeti-tabs?variant=1182020497 but even with this these are crawler shocks they may not be strong for the yeti's weight.

There amazing shocks but they come unsealed, and you really gotta seal them well so if your not use to kits then better get something else.
@geritomlet25243 жыл бұрын
Running them on a very heavy custom hilux scx10 for 1 year+. They need filled and sealed every 4 to 6 months and make sure your truck is stored on a display stand to keep pressure off the wheels while not using. The performance is amazing, the quality is I'd say 4/4.5 stars of 5, proper assembly eliminates most all problems most people have with these. Use 10w30 oil and the clear tubes not the blue ones.

Someone is paying attention :) most of my video are voiceover. I usually shoot my video and work on the bench then I go back and over them for more concise narration and it allows to quickly get bench done. Which one do you prefer? Voiceover or just live run on talking?
