I was collecting this series in the Ultimate Collections that only went up to issue 85 before they stopped making them. So I've been patiently waiting for this book to come out for 6 years. It's a must buy for me and I'll be picking up the Carnage DM cover.

It’ll likely get a Modern Epic Collection set, so that would be another option. They stopped Spider-Girl completes after vol 4, but announced an Epic Collection that’s mapped the same, so people don’t have to rebuy the early volumes. I would assume they’d do the same thing with USM.

Definitely picking this one up. USM was my very first comic (that I read more than an issue of, at least) and I still have all the single issues. I jumped on the omnis late just this month, when Vol2 was already out of stock everywhere online, but was ecstatic to find a copy at my LCS with the Carnage cover, my very first issue. 🥰 Excited to get the whole series on my shelves in hardcover!

I love ultimate Spider-Man by Brian Michael bendis mostly because it respects Spider-Man and his cast and plus a bonus he did the actual clone saga and made it freaking fantastic in my opinion.

I’ve been sitting on vol 1 and 2 thus far and I’m getting to eager to wait for the full run to drop! I think I read the equivalent of Omni vol 1 back in mid 2000’s when I borrowed my buddy’s trades. So glad I picked the moonknight cover, looks amazing!!

I got the first two volumes but didn’t pre-order this one because I wasn’t really feeling any of the covers and I couldn’t decide which one to get. I ended up ordering the Carnage cover today. I was buying the single issues as they were being released back in the day but I stopped buying floppies prior to the issues in this book so I’ve never read any of this material.

Are there any hints to there being a Vol. 5? Would prefer a different mapping than the Death Of Event Omnibus. (Honestly want to avoid collecting anything from the rest of the Ultimate Universe. Like Ultimate Fallout reminding me that Pietro/Wanda thing still exists lol.) But anyways, I know Death of is getting a reprint, so curious if there's any hope for a slightly different Vol. 5. Really would just need those last 10 issues and then the fallout is covered nicely in the Miles Omnibus vol. 1.

Do we know if they are going to do Ultimate Spiderman Vol5 or if its just going to be the Death Of Spiderman Omni? It looks like there is a 1 issue overlap between Vol4 and Death of, so I was thinking they might be doing the same stupid crap they are doing with Xmen where we will get both an Ultimate Spiderman Vol5 (volume omni) and The Death of Spiderman (event omni). If they are planning on doing a Vol5 in the next year, I'd rather just hold out for that one.... assuming it has everything from Death of.

I know I'm probably in the minority but I really did not like Bagley's art during Ultimate Spider-Man. To me it was such a decrease after his ASM art, especially the face designs. Soon we can compare the two eras of his art in oversized format!

The biggest problem with Omnis is the gutter loss. Seeing how Bendis loves doing double spread pages especially during his USM run, you can imagibe just how much of the art is lost. Digital is the way to go for me nowadays.

This edition sadly sucks big time: blurry pages (#86 pg 15, #87 pg 22, #94 pg 22 as examples), very dark tone colors (Warriors story line almost entirely), cut pages (#76 pg 6 top right corner Spidey's head!!!, and mostly of them are cut on the upper side. They cut the frames with no attention to the pictures at all), and its not my copy only. This turkish printings are unacceptable and Marvel quality control does not exist. If they don't respect their own works don't count me in. Sloopy, crappy edition from Mega "Shit" printing. Shame on you, Marvel. I checked the digital print and doesnt have this mistakes.
