So for the people using metrics: here's how much you'll need of eyerything. For the dough: 455 g flour 50 g sugar 2 tsp salt 1tsp sugar 2tsp dry yeast (1pck) 180 g milk 120 g water 1 egg 50 g butter (melted) 2 tsp Vanilla extract For the filling: 100 g sugar 70 g butter (room temperature) 2tsp cinnamon For the topping: 140 g butter 150 g brown sugar 2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp corn sirup 3 tbsp milk 60 g Pecans It worked perfectly using these measurements. You are better off using corn syrup instead of honey because this will let your brown sugar melt more evenly without your cinnamon buns being gritty . That is a trick from one of the best cinnamon bun bakeries in the Philadelphia area. Edit Raisins and nuts are very popular are cinnamon buns also. You'll just have to knead the dough by hand until it comes together in a ball and bounces back when poked probably about 3-4min and it's not too sticky

I highly recommend this recipe, especially if you are new to making bread and feel intimidated by it. I have made Laura's original sticky buns and her cinnamon rolls. Both came out amazingly well and were so easy to do! Definitely takes a while, but it's worth it.

So what’s the best time to prep and serve these? It takes such a long to allow it to rest for several hours and bake and all that before you serve it. So if I wanted to serve these for breakfast, should I be getting started around 5-6am to eat by 8-9ish?
