#100percentwatchsquad 👍In summer I like running a scrounger head just off the bottom and pause it for a few seconds and let it rest on the bottom before starting it up again. Like maybe how an active or startled craw might run or a nervous goby if that's what you have on your lake.

I need to give this technique another try. The first go around I bought heads with too large of a bill on them, used to light of a rod, with too fast of a reel on it- they had a ton of resistance man- they would load my rod to the point I couldn't tell if I got bit. I needed a smaller head, stiffer rod, and a slower reel- but I have all of the above now, accept the pulse-heads. I'll check these out and see if they work better for me- thanks Hank. Do you fish them up shallow much? I don't do much offshore fishing tbh. I kayak fish.
