To all the people commenting on Jim laughing at the Renegade being dead. While it's definitely not funny, if you were to watch the entire almost three-hour interview you would see that prior to this they had mentioned so many wrestlers that have died that it had become ironic when they would bring up names the person would be dead. At this point bringing up the Renegade had to have been about the tenth wrestler they talked about that was dead. He was laughing at the irony of all of the people they had talked about that we're dead. Definitely not funny but it was definitely taken out of context.

Does anyone have a bad word to say about Sting? Seems like he's the most respected and universally liked wrestler there is.
@WCWFanForever
@WCWFanForever 5 жыл бұрын
Sting is my favorite Wrestler of all time for the most part people have said nothing but positive things about him however there a few times when they haven't. Off the top of my head Jake the Snake is one every time he says Sting was off in their feud that he was lazy with all due respect to Jake he was an alcoholic at that time so that could be the reason why Sting was lazy to him. Gary Hart is another from what I remember it seems he had a problem with Sting when he was feuding with The Great Muta and when he changed to the Crow gimmick which is weird to be mad at someone for changing their gimmick up.Ric Flair, now he has always said nothing but positive things about Sting, however, one time he had words with Sting when he didn't want to put David Flair over which let's be honest Sting was right about that and Vampiro is another.

@@WCWFanForever Jake hates everyone. Warrior, Brutus, Hulk, Macho Man....... I loved Jake as a kid but his gimmick was never over enough to be a leading baby face. I seen him once claim he should have been given the push over Hogan by Vince which is absurd. For a start he had a middle aged dad beach bod and always looked 50. He facially doesn't look much older now. He was a pretty good heel especially his stuff with Macho, Warrior and Taker and yeah he could have been an interesting opponent for Hogan at Mania VII. Better than Slaughter anyway. But being the face of the company? No way. Ludicrous. You know just based on that Jake's perception of how it was is way off. I saw Sting do a shoot out beside the pool at his home from around this time. Mid 2000s. He described his early wrestling life with Warrior. All of it seemed on the line. All down to earth and feasible. He said Jim was an erratic character and a bit of a loner. Jim even admits in this shoot he kept himself to himself.

Triceps of Terror The original interview was over an hour long and the questions during the first twenty minutes were basically ‘how did you feel during this moment’ or ‘how do you feel about that moment’. Warrior starts getting impatient with the lack of variety of the questions and lets the interviewer know about it. The interviewer spends the rest of the interview walking on eggshells. The Warrior has a point and the beginning does come across as bit amateurish. That said, overall it’s a good interview probably Warrior’s best.

@@cs77smith67 Goldberg would win. But they could make it a little controversial thanks to Warrior getting speared after getting distracted by Hogan. Let Hollywood be the one to take the gold back from Goldberg at a later PPV. There would be no finger poke of doom. In the Hogan vs. Goldberg rematch they could do the Scott Hall taser, Kevin Nash powerbomb, Hogan leg drop combo to give Hollywood the dirty win. Not that I ever wanted Hogan to ever get that belt back. I didn't. But it never made any sense to have Nash be the one to end the streak.

There’s nothing that hints that he was on steroids after this. He wasn’t wrestling. He wasn’t in movies. What would even be the point of taking them? So you can flex and look at yourself in the mirror? I didn’t know Warrior personally. But I can gauge just from this conversation that he wasn’t the type of person to do that. Also note, both his father and grandfather died in their early 50’s from heart related issues. His mother on the recent A&E bio said that the Hellwig men were known not to have long lifespans.
