Don't need one but always appreciate your reviews! I've also learnt that the decibel scale isn't linear. Another great vid, Cheers.

Exactly the comment I was looking for mate, I'm a fencer too and just switching over to air tools, got a cheapo compressor til I found a professional one, this seems would do the trick, are you 16 guage nails? Cheers mate

One thing you haven`t mentioned is size of motors? This will compact on decibel output. The other compressor I noticed has 2.5 HP motor.

Hmm that abac pole position is rated at 70dB was thinking of getting an abac too. There's an endless selection out there but not easy to find a compressor thats low noise and framing nailer friendly with a high enough cfm. Small tank with low noise or big 50l tank with high nose thats the decision i have. Thanks for the vid with sound reading though.

Nice compressor. I just think that Dewalt is a bit pushy for my diy projects. My 24L LIDL air compressor is doing the trick for now.

+RZaWesc -_458 Yes, it's normally due to condensation, unless you have a water leak etc. If you treat the mould, then use a anti-mould paint such as Zinsser Perma white it can help prevent the mould from reoccurring. Sorting out the condensation is the best option, we normally have the dehumidifier running to prevent a build up of it. You can read more about it here- www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk/how-to/damp/condensation

Great job explaining, thank you....a question - can you use this compressor (turn regulator down low enough) to inflate basketballs, bicycle tyres, blow out dust/fluff from hobby/craft machines, inflate swimming pool rings.. or is this asking too much? Would be great to have a compressor that can be used in the workshop as well as for these more menial tasks.

Yes, this will be fine for jobs like that ;-) Thanks for the comment 👍

How do the attachments work? Are they universal or would I have to but specific ones to fit this air compressor? Thanks
@ultimatehandyman8 жыл бұрын
+kraig walton All compressed air tools are universal as they normally come with either a 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch threaded hole with a BSP thread (in the UK). You then screw in your own quick release connector to the tool. You only need to do this once when you buy the tool. The quick release connectors on this compressor are widely used and easily available. The compressor does come with a pneumatic hose, with quick release connectors attached.Thanks for the comment ;-)

Would this run a framing nailer?
@ultimatehandyman7 жыл бұрын
It should do, this unit provides 2.9cfm so that will be fine for most framing nailers.

are these good for the first fix guns?
@ultimatehandyman3 жыл бұрын
Not 100% sure, you would have to check the air consumption of the nail gun, this compressor delivers - Air delivery (l/min/cfm)@7bar) 82/2.9 Thanks for the comment 👍

I'm not sure to be honest. I would imagine that you would need a larger compressor with a receiver, as you will require a larger volume of air. Thanks for the comment 👍

Do you reckon this would be able to run a framing nailer?
@ultimatehandyman5 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure. You could always check the consumption of the nailer and then check that against the output from the compressor. Dewalt market this as" Extremely low noise compresor designed for framing and finishing applications" , so it should be able to run a framing nailer.
