someone who grades more autos than me told me that they’re 99% sure they grade the actually signature of the artist, not the sketch personalization etc. so it would make sense only the more fucky alters didn’t get a grade. but it’s just anecdote

Like what i said before, the pokecard artists are pampered too much, that if you breach the rules, you will lose their priviledges. Thus, the tear on the fabric makes it worse than before.

Bad enough when graders don't initially catch altered cards, it's just crazy to watch them ignore clear evidence, after the fact. 🤪 Deactivate the cards, warn/ban the submitter and once banned, make that info public.

I hope PSA doesn't grade these, but since he might re sell them through their hosted auctions they might just slap on an Authentic Altered and take their cut of commission. i know ppl are talented at making fakes etc. but removing ink off of a piece of paper and leaving no noticeable marks that psa could see if wild. i dont wanna say dud is talented but i dunno how he did such a good job. normally removing marker from most things leaves a cloudy /filmy looking result
