Just starting using the Ranger + 1000yds , we are here at the Texarkana Gun Club and we have a 600yd range but I am getting into long range 22 LR shooting And this is what I purchased the Ranger+ system for, I’ll be back as I progress through the project, Garry

UR Needs to test this unit out to 1k and beyond if its capable enough. Just bcuz it says range up to 1k yds doesnt automatically mean it will consistently stream out that far. The fine print probably says 1k yd range capability dependent on terrain weather temp time of day/month BS etc😆

Looks great I could certainly use one of these

I have the Marksman and the Hawk. Really enjoy the capabilities that these units have added to my private range days, although they decrease my "steps in a day" exercise workout! :) Great units.

Awesome. Just thinking about getting something like this. Went to Longshot and they are running a special for R+299 beans with free ship so I ordered it!

Thanks, saving $100 is a great deal.

It needs a function where you enter the diameter of your bullet so it can make the hit marks the same size as the holes. 2 of those just covered up the rest of them.

Gavin could have changed the size of the dot on the app. If you notice, in the bottom right corner of the tablet, it says "X3". He should have set that at X1, so the size of the dots were not covering the whole group. He's probably figured that out by now, but it's just in the settings.

These are definitely handy for all sorts of things... Even playing rimfire battleship at 100yrds.

About the “infomercial” comment. I guess I’m just not offended. I subscribe to the channel for information about what’s out there. I often go back and look up products, techniques, and detailed tech reports that are not available anywhere else.

Might have to look into getting one especially when I’m shooting by myself

Good to see something a little more affordable for the people that occasionally shoot.

Is it blue tooth or wifi. Not too many of us have wifi in the back pasture

I bought one of these the fist time UR ran a review. Unfortunately mine has never worked. On Longshots defense they were easy and nice to work with. Longshot determined that there was something wrong with the unit and asked I send it to them for repairs or replacement. However shame on me I got myself busy and have never sent it off. Kinda forgotten about it to be honest 🤷. Goes to show I haven't been to the rang enough 😢

Can multiple cameras connect to one receiver or would you have to have a receiver for each camera?

I’m using the Longshot LR-3 and the latency is mind numbing. Sometimes it freezes up and misses the shot too. If they fixed the device with more compute and network horsepower to get realtime feedback with no freezes, I’d need to upgrade.

Interesting, I just tell my camera man "Trust me bro". Anyways anyone want to be my camera man!

Will it really work to 1,000 yards? Or is that only “under optimal conditions” that nobody is ever able to achieve. You showed with your 100 yard testing and had the extender on the bench. Will it do 100 yards without the extender? I have their Hawk camera for my spotting scope and the image is often pixelated when my iPad is less than 6ft away from it. Not impressed with the quality I have seen from this company.
