With Nikon having so many similar focal lengths this one is redundant. 35mm 2.8 would have been a winner though. But I’m not liking the photo quality of that lens one bit.

Apart from the weird lens flare, it's pretty sharp, even wide open. Nikon also has a 27mm 2.8 which is double the money, it's not that expensive as it's a Nikon lens. I did say that despite Chinese lenses are cheap but there are some affordable options from Nikon/Canon/Sony and even Sigma these days.
