I honestly can't overstate how much joy your videos bring. There's a lot of crazy shit happening in the world right now, shit that are absurd beyond comprehension and infuriates my rational sensibilities so much it often pushes me down into these intense episodes of depression. But then I watch your video, and am reminded that there are still beautiful things in the world left to see, and seeing them in your videos make me feel like I've experienced them too. Thank you.

All your dogs that have been featured on this channel so far were beyond committed, which says a lot about their lordling. And then, on top of that, there's the art... I wish I had the budget to support you appropriately, thank you for all these inspirational videos, Borut. 🙏

Excellent video. That first flower image is particularly nice. The dedication required to haul around ultralarge format equipment, make your own plates, and wrestle with depth of field and shutter speed issues deserves respect. Shooting 4x5 with pre-cut sheets is work enough!

I am a new subscriber here, and I have been watching your videos for three days now consecutively. You are a huge inspiration. I wanted to do photography for the longest time, but I didn't have the means to buy a camera (a dslr for now). Somebody borrowed me a Canon EOS 1300D, and I have been using that, as an amateur, plus some light editing afterwards, but not even with photoshop/lightroom. So far I am just finding more and more courage to delve myself into learning about light, and also the ever-present moment one encounters while making art with it. I am delighted to see this New Earth project, or this home-searching one -- the contrast between such a strong-handed, powerful and dynamic man like you and the delicate flowers is beautiful.

Great and epic video as always! At 9:00 I noticed this very flimsy unstable camera construction, this can be improved. It's not a tripod issue I think.
@BorutPeterlinPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Well, the concept of this camera is to be as light as possible. It's firm enough, but of course it's always a compromise. I prefer to have it lighter then sturdier, since I primarily work outdoor.

nice video, and talk about committed ( not as in 'funny' or 'nuts'), but to set up such a run down shack like that hours before sunset, in such a cold place; but nice camera, just wished you had shown us the plate holder, and how it goes into the camera, and setting the camera up, but one tip, DON'T level the legs with a camera that heavy on top, take the camera off first!!, then you CAN'T drop it, or the lens!!! ( and having the weight off the legs makes shifting the locks easier too).
