Күн бұрын

I remember when I turn 18 and could buy my ver first car which was 1992 Honda Civic.
So like a young kid and Honda enthusiasts was my biggest dream Honda NSX which in Europe especially in Czech Republic we knew only from posters! Even today is NSX more rare than Bugatti Veyron in my country.
So when this NXS show up in my shop I was very excited about this project. I already worked on few of them in professional carrier so I quickly realized that this is not “normal” NSX
After when I talked with guy who manage this project for us he said “NSX Mugen is so rare that you can’t find any pictures or info about it”
Truly the rarest NSX in the world... you can’t find another one like this... period correct with full TRUE MUGEN parts!
Google “1991 NSX MUGEN” and all you’ll find is this car 🙂🙏🏽
Anyway on this project we spent around 500lbs of dry ice and 12.5hours of blasting.
Hopefully you’ll like what we have done.
Thank you Chad for doing business with us.

So you leave it at that? Nsx is mostly aluminum but Shouldn’t there be some black underbody paint needed in some areas?
@IAMDetailing
@IAMDetailing 3 жыл бұрын
First of all... black underbody paint is goo maybe to trucks but for special car like that it will horrible idea. Second thing the car will never left California and also the owner is really nice guy who take care of his stuff well so this car doesn't need any type of protection I'm guessing... and today is possible spray clear protection which will be good and we doing that for some projects but not in this case.

Awesome ...in just one word! Two questions : is dry ice removing the undercoating? And second: if there is some kind of rust, does is handle it well?
@IAMDetailing

Thank you :) Dry Ice can remove the undercoating but since we have very sophisticated machine we can just clean it without removing... it's all about clients what they want. Rust unfortunately will be still there since dry ice is non abrasive

I literally remember seeing an NSX in the back of our cabinet-making shop in the little rinky dink parking lot we have back there, and it was just sitting there. A black NSX and I just kind of looked at it, and was like, "Is that what I think it is?" Even then I think I severely underappreciated that car just being that parked like it was any other car. Kind of crazy.

Yeah bro I worked at a truck dealership and had to refresh under the trucks because I live in the south and we’d buy/sell Canadian surplus trucks to maximize profit, but In the south people sh*+ their pants over any rust because they don’t realize how quickly vehicles in Canada/Michigan accumulate rust from salt and ice. Completely satisfying job, but yes very hard to stand there with your hose all day . Especially when you have to acid multiple times to break through layers of oxidation. Dirty job for sure
