You give away very important and useful information. Most will go over their head. Cause they don’t have the will or drive. They just want to hit buttons. But for the very few that are trying, keep at it. Find your character and the way you want to use the character. Fighting games are a very solo journey, that only a few will walk this path.

You are a really good teacher. So much good info...this is my third time listening to this.

Honestly need to listen to this at least once a week because it is so easy to just autopilot your offense and only think about what you want to do while ignoring your opponent's autonomy. This was a brilliant reminder, really needed it!

I like your long form content. Alot of other creators brush over complicated ideas.

You don't need Cerebro to know when your opponent is going to jump. "What you jumping' fo' boy?!"

Feels like someone watched that Strive vid I made awhile back and then screamed at the screen OK BUT HOW. Good vid, J. C. Hensor :)

"the mistake is you" I recently realized that frequently when I'm tilted/feel like I don't understand why I'm losing, I was doing jab in wake up just hoping it'd work. Then I'm suddenly dead and felt so confused. It was all me.

Why does Zangief have such bad defense in 6? It's impossible for me to play this character coming from all the previous iterations of the character.

I rather be the problem rather than deal with the problem. Sometimes after a long day of work, I just want to play cammy & just rushdown my opponents & have them deal with the aggression. Win or lose I don't care, I am going in & if you can stop me, then respect.

you can EITHER: really listen to what james is trying to tell you, OR, keep making lazy excuses like "offense is the best defense" "didn't buy the game to block" blah blah blah. it's up to you to keep playing checkers or to start actually playing chess. and you can't play chess without thinking. up to you brah.
