I started off on the HTC wildfire way back in the day and when HTC lost their minds and momentum I switched to the Moto G range but Lenovo took over and that went south quick. I got a Huawei P-Smart as my first Chinese phone last year. That opened my mind to Chinese phones. After 2 week's with the Umidigi Power I'm wondering why the Huawei's and Samsung's cost so much since the Power is superior to many entry level and mid range phones for very little

I agree, but in the end aren't they all "Chinese phones?" I used to waste my money on having the latest flagships and last year I was over it. My brand new flagship dropped while I was at the airport and cracked the screen badly. I was stuck for the whole trip looking at it, so I went online and dove into the specs of various phones in all price brackets. I realized I could have bought 8 phones with similar specs and I was converted. It hurts alot less now when I scratch or crack some glass. I actually feel a bit dumb for all those years coddling my overpriced chunk of plastic and glass.

I have the umidigi power, you forgot about the NFC on the power....really comparing pricing and features the power is the clear winner .......but still like the A5 pro....Umidigi is doing great things in the cellphone world .....these two phones for the price beats anything metro has by a big margin .....metro's best phone right now for the price is the Samsung A20, which out the door(unless your getting a port over deal) is a little over $200....and that phone has a 720p display.....either of these phones is a better deal....think about it...you could buy two unlocked phones for the price of one metro branded phone.....

Despite the video stating over and over that the screens are the same, I thought it may be relevant to point out that the screens are NOT the same. The Umidigi A5 Pro actually uses a 19:9 ratio screen, while the Umidigi Power uses the same 19.5:9 ratio screen (like most other 1080 Umidigi phones). That is why you see slightly more text on the Power, and also why the A5 is marginally wider, and marginally shorter. For many people the slight difference in screen ratio probably wouldn't matter. But when I was deciding between these as a secondary phone, I wanted the 19.5:9 ratio to match my main phone.

Day time I try selfish and back camera are ok . They're the same price now on Amazon. The Power has a stronger processor, more onboard storage and NFC (if you have retailers around that use it). Seems like a no-brainer to take it over the A5 Pro. The A5 Pro really needs to be $20 - $30 less. Edit: Umidigi has it on sale now for $99.99 at their official store.

The f1 is like the Power but with a helio p60 chip. It is about £40 more expensive so if gaming is not that important then just go with the Power 😊 you can still game on the Power though just not as smooth.

F1 is superior, but you'll pay almost twice as much as a Power for it. The Power3 though... Now that is very close to F1 specs but has a great camera setup (48mp main) and 6150mah battery! Power3 will be my next ride when this A5 pro is beat-up.

These are both great phones for the money. Unfortunately Umidigi's software suppoort is almost non-existent. I love my Umidigi F1 except for the fact that it is currently on a January security update.

Same here, red colored one. As I type this, the Umidigi F1 is $179.99 on with discounts on Amazon. I think it's better to get the F1 since it has decent cameras, twice the ROM of the Umidigi Power, and better battery life.

The only connectors I had problem with (breaking or bad connection) have been microusb. I havent had a problem with type c yet. It looks more durable.
