X Factor buffs speed and damage. It scales with each dead character so definitely a comeback mechanic. Similar to sparking in that respect but there are some differences.

@@Yamisaru which is ironic because early marvel had nothing to do with neutral. even the best players just did shit and hoped it landed but in modern marvel, because almost everyone can 1 touch off of like any confirm you have to be on your feet so much. it went full circle into neutral heaviness.

Chun li has triple jump,air spinning bird kick,air up kicks,hyakuretsu air kicks. All these allows Ryan to stay in the air for pretty damn long.Long enough for the morrigan assist to be available and you can call her again. Also there isn't a lot of chararcters that can stop her once she's in the ait. Even doom missiles helps her,since she resets ALL of her moves. She also has a nice lockdown assist that lets Ryan do high low mixups if she wants to be aggressive.

great at run away with triple jump. spam that and morrigan assist and you easily get meter for phoenix. great active lockdown assist 2 ways to do tac infinites. stand alone shes not a top tier character at all, low damage and low hp but since marvel is a team game, she synergizes extremely well with these cheap characters lol.

Her combos build a SHITTON of meter too, and take long enough that you have multiple reset and TAC-bait points.

Phoenix IS a liability until you get 5 bars. She can potentially be deadweight to your team, your point character cannot really spend meter while she's alive and your point character also loses out on a neutral assist because a) her assists suck besides being used as combo extensions and b) you can rarely call her out to begin with. The only pro you do get, which works to RyanLVs favour because he's just so good with all his characters on point, is that Phoenix also acts as a combo breaker for his Chun and Morrigan, which artifically extends their lives a lot. There's also that psychological factor where your opponent feels like there's a race to prevent Phoenix from getting the 5 bars That being said there's a reason why RyanLV's team is only seen being used by only RyanLV: lack of neutral assist. RyanLV can get away with it only because he's just so damn good playing point Chun but anyone else playing that team will get decimated from ZMC players in the blink of an eye. Plus, ZMC is just superior on paper and a lot easier to use anyways so why bother learning some Chun, who requires such high level of execution to play on a competitive level?

Nope. As Sajam says he can just react and teleport down. He would have to hope he chokes which isnt the best idea, so he goes for finger lasers hoping ryan was already teleporting down.

What makhmaltchi said. Sphere Flame would've whiffed because Phoenix can just teleport down (her teleport is insanely fast) and then firebird super before the sphere bursts. However, Sajam also mentioned that Ray ray could've launched a single missile and then use the finger lasers. That would've been a big brain play because it could've forced ryan to reposition/teleport into the finger lasers. But hey, everything happens so fast it's honestly incredible
