Lincoln having his man-spa time was a hoot!! Thanks for the morning giggle. Billy Petherick used a chemical to spray some of his buildings (there is a vlog). It's a slow-timed release and doesn't damage the stones. If I remember correctly he clearly identified the product and had done his research to ensure that it would do no damage. I just love your channel and your humour. That's hard to sustain with all the work you both do but I commend your sense of haha throughout.

Looks like a long but very rewarding job to clean the façade! Billy Petherick used a 9% bleach (with full PPE) to whiten and brighten the chapel sandstone at his chateau, and dealing with mosses and lichens seems to be very much in the English exteriors cleaners' wheelhouse. I follow Sid Partridge at Partridge Exterior Cleaning, and after a good power wash, he treats the surface with a solution of diluted hypochlorite acid, and then leaves it on to continue to work its magic, impeding any immediate regrowth of the lichens. Even if your preference is to avoid harsh chemicals as much as possible, it might be something to consider on that north side to give you push needed to get through that very overdue overgrowth, and make future maintenance a little easier. I owned one when I was in High School back in the 70's great car as long as you did not need the headlights to work because it always had electrical issues. It spent more time in the repair shop than it did in my folks driveway. Lucas electrics were the reason.

I love the images of Paris. Use to be on my bucket list now just a dream. Lincoln’s spa day was well deserved, a cold brewski and a fold down magazine works. Lol You also deserve a break, especially your kids. Power washing is my favorite thing to do in the summer, until my shoulders give out with pain. But I could see the difference you made good job. Also the TR6 love love love. I owed a red one until i had a child in 1972. Then my beautiful Triumph had to go. I so wish she was still with me. Your mother has great taste, turquoise blue is one of my favorite colors ! She and I would be great friends. Lol

Handy tip..... can use a brush. Some sprays can get on your skin - react. 10:08 I find this a more controlling method. Looking good.

I love power washing because it’s almost instant gratification. I watched one of the chateau owners who added some sort of bleach to the water and it cleaned the granite and sandstone beautifully. You might want to ask an expert about that. Your chateau is going to be gorgeous when it’s done. xx

Use "30 Second Outdoor Cleaner" on your exterior stone & wood surfaces. It's gentler on surfaces, won't harm vegetation and we found we can leave it on or rinse it off. We spray it on in late fall and let the rain remove it naturally...it works FANTASTIC! ❤️🙏

Hi Amanda, I can see the difference as well, it will take a while to get it finished, but in the end it will be beautiful. Starting now is good, in case you have another draught, this summer. I love how you can renew, your passports in Paris, as you know in the States, it's all by mail, and takes up to three months, or more with the back log.
