I have searched many places previously searched by clubs. 1 in 100 may know how to use a detector. The gentleman that told me I wouldn't find anything was surprised to see the quantity and value of the items I found where 50 had searched 2 days before.

I have been to an auction where a double standard coin exactly like that one sold for $250 dollars. The expert there only valued it at $150 but he wound of getting more for it. And it was in far worse condition to.

I've been wanting to get into metal detecting for about a year now watching all these videos on KZbin.. I've been collecting coins for a year and a half and have over 50 American coins with silver from working a second job at a over night store and my question is if I get a detector and search for coins will there be a noise or icon on the screen to let you know if it's clad or actually have silver in it.. I live in a house that's almost 100 years old An house has been remodeled and it's nice An huge with a nice size yard.. the thing that makes me excited is that the first owner was a doctor an like I said it's a huge house so I don't know if his practice was here but I think it was an I bet their is a lot of old stuff and coins in my yard and I also live in NC on Roanoke island woo you know that's an old island because of the lost colony history

@seekeroftruth697 жыл бұрын
I collect all my change and turn it in for cash after a few months. but before I do I sort through it all and every time I pull out a handful of dimes, quarters, Nickels below 1965. are they that valuable of a find? I noticed in one video you mentioned you had a goal for how much silver you wanted to find in a year, is that just counting metal detecting? because I'll find 50 silvers in 6 months. that's just counting what I actually notice. a lot of the time change builds up in my car and i spend it on coffee without going through it
@Roller4down7 жыл бұрын
Nickels are not worth that much in circulated condition.. but the war nickels 42-45 have 35% silver.. Yeah even in 2017 you can find some good coins that are still in circulation.. Keep a eye out and once in a while you find a score! Thanks for watching.
@seekeroftruth697 жыл бұрын

DO NOT clean it too much. Bronze is valued most for the patina given to it by age. Use a metal cleaner on it and you'll ruin it. .
