I got this the other day with the battery and charger on sale for $119.99. was a no-brainer it works great for what it's made for. Perfect from getting all the excess water off your car and out of crevices where it likes to hide makes towel drain 10 times faster.

I haven't found any electric blower that is powerful enough for me to fully dry my car in a reasonable timeframe. Even with a brand new ceramic coating it just takes too long. I just use them to quickly blow out seams edges to avoid drips, then towel dry with a detail spray over large panels. This one is great because I can hold a towel in one hand and the blower in the other comfortably while run around the vehicle. For its size and price it is pretty powerful and I can get around my vehicle in 2-3 minutes. It also comes in handy around the house. I use it to sweep my hard floors, I can get under stuff and in corners much easier. I blow everything to one corner and sweep it up. It takes 1/10th the time and does a better job. If you have ryobi 18v batteries and are looking for a blower, skip the larger, more powerful models. They just eat the battery charge faster and don't do a much better job. If you want to blow dry completely I wouldn't consider anything that isn't 40-80v. Though at that point I would look into corded models as they are much cheaper.

You haven't used an EGo blower then. They're great if you catch them on sale it's worth the price.

@@Th4tGuyLondon ego, green works, dewalt, Milwaukee. They all take too long for what they cost. About half the year I need to use self service washes for running water here in mn and I can’t spend 10 minutes drying the car while people wait, even in my garage it is a bit long. That’s not even taking into account the price. Obviously to each their own, but I haven’t had any trouble with marring using twist loop microfiber towels and this little blower

@Th4tGuyLondon i used to own ego 530cfm. Not the 765, but still gets the job done.but my reason for switching is ryobi is compact. I can bring it in one basket together with all my soap and towel to carwash stations. I also just blow most corners/side mirror and most water off the car(where dripping comes). I still dry it using towel with rinseless as a drying aid.

This will be a sweet addition to my existing Ryobi ecosystem! I have a large Ryobi leafblower I had been using for the car but I would like something smaller and less wieldy like this that still gets the job done.

I have been considering one . Im already into the ryobi line . Is it as strong as a leaf blower? No . Ofcourse not . 220 cfm . Its not marketed as such . Its not really marketed toward detailing either but .... for small size , one handed use it goes great with a towel to blow out cracks and crevices after initial towel drying.

I'm actually impressed with this. Its a tiny blower with a 140mph power. I used to have EGO 530cfm, and is okay. But this is way better. Compact,powerful and easy to hold. I'm not sure with your application but the car you are seeing right now is definitely ceramic coated. If you are going to use this on an uncoated vehicle, its not gonna glide the water for sure.

@Spacedog_427 ай бұрын
It’s pretty powerful compared to the old RYOBI workshop blower. As for blowing water off car, it depends what coating is on the car to begin with. If the car isn’t coated, it will make the blower look like crap, but on ceramic coated car it works really well.
