Definitely suspicious. Whatever caused the bust up was a: before the clip started, and b: cammer definitely played a full part in escalating it. The overtake and cut-in was retaliation/punishment for some perceived insult,without doubt.

I know the road very well. A few hundred yards earlier the road goes from 2 lanes into 1 lane so you have to merge. I'm guessing it was the usual case of 2 vehicles driving side by side battling over the same piece of road space seconds before.

and the camera was completeley allowed to stop traffic on his own and change the right of way rule and ofcourse he also was okay to then speed up and intentionally blocking someone from overtaking (after blocking the whole traffic before himself?!) and after that he was completely okay to drive over a solid white line into opposite traffic to take his turn (what he even can't do) one full second earlier and almost causing a head on crash?! The risk is the driver in the outside lane is driving slowly because they are not particularly competent at driving anymore. While the accident was the other cars fault it's good to be able to spot red flags and avoid accidents before they happen.

I was travelling to work on the A509 yesterday morning to MK, a BMW in front of me, whenever someone got in front of him either from a roundabout or junction he would sit up it's arse, when we reached the dual carriageway part he just sat in the outside lane doing 55, after flashing him to move over I had no choice but to undertake them. There are so many inconsiderate motorists on our roads today, about time something was done

That's because if your car speedo says 50mph you're only doing 46-9 mph. And lorry drivers know you ait going to get done in an average speed zone, even if you do 52mph as couple of times.' I glide post most vehicles in my car in this section, as i look at my GPS speed not the car speedo - although that's only 1mph out when some cars can be 4mph out.

So if your true speed is 40mph, your speedo could legally be reading up to 50.25mph but never less than 40mph.

In regards to the horse box: Rule 180. Wait until there is a safe gap between you and any oncoming vehicle. Watch out for cyclists, motorcyclists, pedestrians and other road users. Check your mirrors and blind spot again to make sure you are not being overtaken, then make the turn.

Some of these drivers leaving it late to take a slip road might be driving with satnav. Noticed on a recent journey to strange places that the 300yard warning was not really enough to perform the turning manoeuvrer safely. I prefer to look at map before I go and note down the turnings on paper to forewarn myself as to the satnav directions.

I think he was swerving to avoid the van, it’s more of a panic than deliberate act. You don’t expect someone to fly up the inside of a bus lane and cut in front (especially as that’s a blind spot on the lorry)

This is an occurrence for all HGV in roadworks at 50mph for tailgating it is so dangerous. I have a family member who works in the transport sector and said HGV are able to have a speed set for 50mph which tends to dip over. I am amazed how they never trigger the speed cameras. Big car crash video this one!

No its not that all. Their speedometers are calibrated- cars arren.t so they tend to over read. So Mrs Miggins has an indicated 50mph in her car but, only doing a true 47-48mph. Use GPS for more accurate figure. No excuse for lorries tailgating but, you get idiots who wont move over even when safe to do so.

That bus lane may be a timed one. We have them in Sheffield that are only live at rush hours but people won't use them.the rest of the time. You get angry looks when you go down these lanes when there are queues af traffic. There's no excuse for not using them as there are plenty of blue signage. I could be a test failure for lack of observation.

1:30 highway code is for a reason and does not mention you can break rules to be kind for others. If you stop to let a vehicle in you break rules as you stop traffic from flowing and you give way where you shouldn't. Both cammer and BMW were silly and get tickets for not complying with highway code. If you want to be kind, do some charity work or other voluntary stuff.
