Those are beautiful boots. Its like two big pieces of leather to make that whole boot. Very long and low toe shape, the upper is very sleek and refined. Holy crap im in love. ❤

The only boots I've seen with uppers made of natural veg. tanned leather. I'd love to see them after a couple years wear; those will patina like a Mother (censored) !!!
@williamwallaceg26277 ай бұрын
You certainly didn’t advertise positively for them, but no matter. In my opinion, probably one of the most stylish boots you have platformed. If I had an extra $1100 bucks, I’d LOVE to get a pair of $1400 boots. But if I did have the extra money, I’m not sure I’d be using KZbin to look for boots. I’ll just have to save my $300 several times over and then hope they are still in business

I like the overall silhouette it looks like a boot made in the 1800's or something it looked really vintage compared to the shape of heritage boots today.

Whats up Rose Anvil Team! Your videos are so good. I've gotten through some difficult moments by learning about boots, leather, and especially boot related history! I now own two pair of Red Wing and a pair of Red Back UBOK. Thanks for doing what your doing on KZbin, my eyes have been opened to a bigger world. I'm looking hard at one of your wallets as well ;) As far as the boots in this video? Not my speed, man. Too much for too little.

The market. As long as they find folks who will pay this much for them, they will keep selling them at this price. Their "price" and their "value" don't, necessarily, correlate.

One reason is the uppers are made of Veg tanned leather, which increases the cost of materials by approx. 35%.

They look like a light color version of the US Army M1948 combat boots. Smooth leather outer. They were an evolution from the WW2 paratrooper jump boots and were worn until the Army changed to black combat boots in the late 50's. Get em dirty!!!

Can you do another collab with Jim Green? Formal leather shoes. The Jim Green Barefoots are so close to being nice formal wear shoes. I watched your interview with him and I think a formal or business casual leather bare shoe would be the bees knees. Also, side note for Jim, I didn’t realize the rangers relied on tips until well after I bought my boots and heard about it on the interview.
