Unboxing and Installing aux buttons from Z automotive to use with Tazer

So i already have in this place for adaptive cruise so would the remapping work if use those buttons instead?

But the buttons are still blank and we all know people with ocd want them to say aux 1, aux 2, and aux 3. Although this wins for not having to rip your steering wheel apart. Great video. 👍🏻

Ya well I dont need it to say anything as I may change what each button does in the future. OCD sucks for a lot of people but for me its fine lol

I just got a tazer for my 21 gt charger awd and I don’t see a option to force rwd

Car needs to be on and married to the vehicle first. Its one of the last menu options. Although Ive never tried it on a and charger. That might be something to have ZAutomotive add a feature in for if they haven't already. IDK what AWD system they use on the charger

When installing the buttons, take a real good look at the bottom side of the new button. You will notice that there is a specific button design that matches up with the steering wheel button hole. It will make things much easier when trying to determine which button goes where. Also: Has anyone on here been able to assign Launch Mode to any of the buttons? I have the option in the list but will not attach to the button.

I have a launch button already by my parking sensors button. Also there’s certain things you can’t assign to the buttons

What process did you use to get the launch button assigned? Can’t get it to assign on my 2015 Challenger RT SHAKER PLUS!

So when you force AWD with the aux button. Do only Have to hit again to go back to normal (letting the car decide)?

yes you need to hit button again for it to go back to AWD

Does the Tazer need to stay plugged in for mapped buttons to work?

Yes mapped buttons can only be assigned with live features which require the device to be plugged in to work.

Is that possible if i pop out the factory button and cut them from the lines which would separate them then i can put those button back in then that could work or no
