if u want to make it more water resistant, put wax between the welt and the upper . put seem sealer on the stiches. now u can stand in ankle deep puddle with confidence.

Man I’ve considered buying the Red Wing Iron Ranger’s for a while now. I just have a hard time getting passed the fact that kind of have a crown shoe look to them a bit. It’s unfortunate because they seem to be great quality and built like Tanks. Maybe they look different in person and on the feet 🤷‍♂️

They are unaivable al over the world. I've bought them at the Amaterdam Red Wing shop the 6th of october. I'm waiting too.... The GM says that they Will arrive.......

Darn Tough Tactical socks, you won't find those at REI. Where did you get them? I got them issued to me while I was enlisted in the U.S. Army. I later found out only specific vendors/dealers sell them.

The price of Iron Rangers in Japan is 50,710 JPY, equivalent to 373 USD which is more expensive than US price ($350). I think because of tax and shipping cost etc. If I get these resoled, I will prefer having a leather midsole and a Vibram or a Dr. Sole outsole 🥾

Enjoy that break in period it’s what separates the real boot dudes from the posers …lol also idk know if u have ever seen the Thursday Captains but they are like $199 US and are real good quality for the price have many good colors,, they don’t have that toe cap like the iron ranger … it’s more just a stitch for looks going across the toe but they are great for going out to dinner or to the bar or something …More of a casual/Formal boot
