I shave with an old 3 piece ball end Gillette safety razor that belonged to my great grandfather. It has an “M2” date code on it which means it was made in the second quarter of 1967. This razor is 57 years old and it still gives a cleaner shave than the modern disposable razors I have tried.

Glad I found your channel!! My grandpa had a few case knives back when I lived in Mexico where I was born. Now I started collecting knives a few years ago now the I’m in my 40s and have accumulated a little over 50 knives.. I’m sure if I had more money to spare I would have a lot more. I’ve found most of mine at the Texas State surplus store here in Austin Texas. I’ll have to send you some to put on a future auction. Greetings from Central Texas!!

Now you have me doing this. I went to a pawnshop and found a Kershaw lock back knife that was made in Japan and a Zippo made in 1995 with a matching insert only a month difference between case and insert. The Zippo has never been lit and knife is in excellent shape. Both only cost me $15.00 for the knife and $6.00 for the Zippo. I couldn’t believe it. Anyway thank you for all you do and good luck with the auction- TryN

I bought a boy scout pocket knife at a yard sale in Hudson Florida yesterday for $2. Great find. Very good shape for the age of the knife. Going to soak it in oil for a month or so, clean it up, sharpen it and use it for my every day carrier.

Hello I have a old granddaddy barlow it needs to have a pin replaced it looks like it had brass pins in it the one I need to replace is the one that holds the spine in that keeps the blade open should I replace with a silver pin or a brass pin . One of the bolsters has been misplaced I am hoping to find it and put it back in working order . Thanks for any information in advance
