Very nice! I love all the details. I also got the Langlitz Competition padded pants this year with the 70th anniversary label. I got the Columbia padded jacket in 2015. I see yours has a slight difference on the shoulder strap Sam Brown. I'm sorry about the sizing issues that delayed your jacket of three months. In my case it's the Langlitz Competition pants that I cannot wear easily with Wesco Boss boots but of course I can wear them with many other boots.

Great leathers! I've owned my Langlitz leathers and Wescos for a long time. None better, anywhere ! EXCELLENT. Anyone looking should make the trip to Portland and have them both (Langlitz and Wesco) measure you for your leather and boots. When you do, the finished products really do fit like second skin. Speaking of gloves Cal, what gloves do you have? Also, I've always worn my Sam Browne over my right shoulder. Maybe I've got it wrong? Do you know if there is a "proper" direction? Thanks the info from a fellow Langlitz leatherman!

Edward Murray I did get measured at the store in Portland. The jacket came back with arms that were too long and with too much extra material in the shoulders, arms and back. Scott helped me retake the measurements at home, and they rebuilt the jacket for a more snug fit.

Surprised I haven't stumbled upon your channel before. Enjoyed the video, and your hubby is cute, especially his silent, obedient, enthusiasm. You're a hot guy, love those defined pecs, you wear denim jeans really well, and I can't help but notice a nice bulge going on down there. I do like how with an actual cameraman you can more easily shoot certain angles better than solo stuff would be capable of, and the sort of "horror drone" while donning your new suit was an unusual choice, but I actually liked the odd ominous tone it brought, like it was foretelling a change in you once you finally pulled your leathers on. Going to raid the rest of your channel now.

At least you never have to worry about ash and embers dropping onto those Langlitz leathers. When their are no ashtrays, I have used my horsehide jeans to stub my cigarette out a few times. You can imagine the reaction from the other guys.

Did your horsehide get burn marks from that? Its pretty durable, but wondering since it's skin.

Thanks for your reply. Horsehide and cowhide is really tough, but I would suggest that you rub any cigarettes out on that jacket while it is new, rather than grind it into one spot. Leather gets harder as it ages. In my younger days, I lived in an area prone to a lot of grass fires in the summer. When we beat and stomped them out, I always wore leathers. We kept our jeans outside our harness boots to stop embers getting inside them and guys stomping the bushes often managed to set the frayed edges of their Levi's alight. Needless to say, I snuffed them out with my leather jeans and they never complained. In fact I sometimes wondered if it was an accident judging by the number of times one guy jeans started smouldering, I am not sure that it was always an accident. The boots, jeans and jacket you are wearing in this video look really tough, Have you ever worn them around a bonfire.? . PS, You could put your cigars out on my leather jeans any day.!!! LOL.
