People keep asking me about that :) I was facing the same problem before buying it. Right now I can say that overall I have a very positive opinion about this laptop. But since I wiped the built-in OS and did a minimal install of Debian on it, I'm now facing some issues configuring certain things. The major one is the Nvidia graphics card. I opened up a thread on Reddit to try and get some input regarding this issue: old.reddit.com/r/tuxedocomputers/comments/16jhniz/trouble_configuring_nvidia_driver_on_tuxedo/ If you, or anybody else reading this comment knows anything about how to solve this, your input would be greatly appreciated. Based on what I researched so far, getting an Nvidia graphics card to work right on Linux seems to be a big challenge for many people on completely different laptops, so this comment shouldn't be taken as being against this particular laptop. I would like to try and solve this one before giving my full opinion to be able to do a fair review.

@@mindfultechnology all I can say is that using Pop OS (which is, at heart, Debian derived), Nvidia compatibility has generally been excellent on the last three laptops with nvidia cards that I've tried it on. I previously used Debian and switched to pop for the Nvidia compatibility. Would love to hear if Pop works for you.

I haven't tried PopOS, but it's good to know that it has good Nvidia support. My mind is quite settled on Debian right now. I'm making some progress with configuring the graphics card in the meanwhile, so I'll be posting videos about that shortly.

Well, to each their own! Might try the live boot at least though. That's what I'd run, and would be helpful from a review perspective to be able to talk about whether the 4090 is plug and play in a distro with better native support.
