Unboxing Planet Industrials OO Gauge ‘Victory’

A brief overview of Planet Industrials Kerr Stuart ‘Victory’ locomotive in OO Gauge. This is a first trial of an unboxing video and almost done as a one take. Note to self fewer ‘IM’s’ next time! The package had taken a knock in transit, which almost certainly dislodged the next 18 DCC blanking plug, and may have dislodged the right hand slide bar. In the video you can see how both were easily resolved. The fitting of the next18 blanking plug is in essence an identical procedure to fitting a DCC chip of your choice.
Hopefully the video shows that some fixes if you have a bit of experience, can be easily achieved, but if you’re not confident, or any damage is too great you may simply return them to the vendor for replacement or refund under Uk legislation. Overall I’m very happy with this model, at £130.00 in late 2022 it represents good value for money, and a good quality product.
