The tailored response of the MR500CF-NDY-4 comes from its exotic yet supremely engineered carbon fiber cone that delivers the signature PRV Audio combination of depth, accuracy on vocal reproduction. Beyond good looks, this cone is extremely light, surprisingly rigid, and provides excellent damping to keep narrow peaks under control, resulting in an incredibly natural yet accurate sound.
A rubber surround and large flat spider suspend the cone and keep it linear through the limits of excursion with minimal restriction, further improving dynamics and transients.
The suspension design of this mid-range features the single layer spider - which connects to the coil former with premium stitched lead wires, all being driven by a copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil providing high efficiency and excellent power handling, complemented by a high-power neodymium radial slugs that immerse the voice coil in a strong magnetic field.
You can expect excellent off-axis and transient response from this water-resistant mid-range for a great sound stage and realistic sound reproduction.

I have 6 6.5 and 2, 8'' speakers with 4 DS18 tweeters that I'm changing to 4 PRV's tweeters om my 2009 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic, there all are carbon fiber, them are the best ones I done put on my bike...

@@goodtimejunkie so I’m actually running (2) 6.5’s upfront, (4) 6x9’sin the lids and (2) 8’s inside the bags. I’m using a BT4180 amp to power it all and it slams hard!! I probably could use a dsp but for my use it sounds fine! Yes, i recommend pumping high power into those speaks! I’m pushing about 1400 watts.

One of the guys over at DaFunk shop. They are very well known in the Motorcycle audio community. You should be able to get these now, from what I have been told, they are a little bit tighter in bass than the non Carbon Fiber version.

These speakers need bigger push terminals holes. I was barely able to fit 16 awg. Need to make them big enough for 12 awg.

What is the power ratings on these I have heard they love power 350 to 375 watts I have also been told by a reputable shop they will only take 200-250 max without being damaged. What is the real truth?
