In this Video, I unbox two Shimano Vanford Spinning Reels and 2 Shimano Jackall Poison Adrena. I give a detailed a first impression of each device and how they will assist in my replacing my PB’s. Furthermore I give an overview of what these items cost retail and approximately what I paid for them. Your combo is incredible! What is your PB on it so far? These #PoisonAdrena rods are high end hidden gems! I had no idea before making this purchase. So much is said about #ShimanoExpride rods but this the #Jackall #Shimano Poison Adrena is at least a $250 better rod than the Expride with very little fanfare. It's definitely a great rod. Debating on a second in heavy fast, but I also want to try the new Zodias rods. I've only been able to fish with it for a little over a month, but I've hardly touched any other setups. Current PB is a 4 lb largemouth, and a 32 inch pike, not sure about the weight though.

The new 2020 Zodias rods are fantastic. I’ve been throwing them for about 2 weeks. They would be worth the purchase. Just look for a good deal. If you haven’t done so yet, check out my unboxing video from a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, it's a toss up between the heavy fast Zodias and Poison Adrena, or the 7'4" heavy regular fast Adrena, read that it's a well-rounded powerhouse. And I will definitely check it out!

Just got my Vanford 4000xg as well. Surprising how light it is for a 4000 size reel. Anti-reverse is definitely not a deal breaker it's a fantastic reel. And I agree, IMO the Poison Adrena is definitely aesthetically superior to the NRX!!

This is a sick looking combo. Let‘s wait for your experiences with it. I think the difference between these rods is a different kind of carbon fiber material of which the Poison Adrena is build (with way less resin which mainly causes the weight reduction), constructed at much higher pressure. In addition, I‘m quite sure that the guides used with the Poison Adrena are different ( I guess Titanium with Torzite Inlays while the guides used with the Zodias might be steel frames with SIC or Alconite inlays). Will you do some on the water footage someday? This would be great....

Good morning!! I'm interested in the Poison Adrena MH 6'-11" but I'm curious to the lenght of the handle. Would it be possible for you to measure the entire handle from the butt to the lock nut? I fish a lot from a kayak so shorter handles are more comfortable for me. Thanks so much.

From the top of the locknut to the end of the but is 14.25 inches. It's on the upper end of the short handle but It's still in the 16 inch range for Kayaks. Thanks for watching. 👏🏿

Hello! Can i confirm if the Poison Adrena is a 1 Piece or 2 Piece. I've spoken to the Shimano Product Manager and he's advised that its a 2 piece? However my local fishing shops have said that its actually a 1 piece rod. Unfortunately due to COVID lockdowns i cant actually go see it for myself. Thanks

The Poison Adrena is a one piece rod only. Shimano has never made a two piece rod for this model. The only innovation they have made is they have recently produced a 7 foot medium model. Thanks for the question.

I have a new poison poison adrena. It’s a 276M2. Which is a 7-6 Med 2pcs spinning rod. 3/16-1/2 oz. I have a shimano 21 complex 2500 F6 on it. Balances great! Light and very sensitive. But have to go jdm ! We’ll worth it!

What test does this adrena poison have, and what number does it have?

If I understand your question correctly, the test is 6 to 12 pound test (Monofilament equivalent). The length is 6’11”, and the lure rating is 1/4 ounce to 3/4 ounces. 👏🏿👏🏿🎣
