I'm looking into buying their fanned fret 8 string that's 330$ at the moment, would you recommend? Are their guitars pretty reliable? You might want to check out SubZero guitars too. They have a Jazzmaster-esque baritone model. One is the color-flipped version of this: White body, black pickguard, maple fretboard with black block inlays. Or there's a sunburst version with tortoise pickguard, dark maple (thermally treated) fretboard and white blocks. Both have tune-o-matic bridges and humbuckers. They are fairly cheap as well, and the stock hardware and pickups are decent enough to hold out until you figure out if you'll swap it for something higher end.

@SlipKnoTRokr Жыл бұрын
@@JW-zj8wn definitely get it. The neck is pretty good, I did have to shave down 1 or 2 frets but other than that it was a clean neck. Paint job is good, might need some action fixing tuning but other than that it's pretty solid guitar. The tuning pegs do sick, I find myself constantly tuning the guitar when I do play it. It's also slightly different than a regular guitar so it takes some time getting used to. Can't just play any song on the guitar. One thing i found as well is it's really hard to dial in a good tone. You need a lot of gain to get a good tone out of it.

Hi! Just received my new JA Baritone, but even with a small amount of distortion in the amp I can hear a lot of noise/hum/buzz coming from the speaker. The Only way to turn down considerebly this noise is to close all the way up the tone or use both pickups at the same time (I think emulating an Humbucker?). Said this, it's this normal? I've read and watch a lot of reviews and no one had complained about this kind of issue.
