Unboxing the Ista Breeze i1500 wind generator, watch before buying, wind turbine, wind mill
So thanks to an online review of this very wind generator I was able to feel pretty good about purchasing this with confidence. Shout out to toys for watts for doing the review of the ista breeze i1500.
In this video I unbox the wind turbine, and stay tuned in future videos for the installation of the tower and the wind mill itself.

After you install the blades on the hub , it needs balanced , hang a string from the ceiling down and to the center of the hub , it will tilt down in the direction of the heaviest , just put a extra washer or two on the opposite side to balance it until it lays completely flat

The texturing on the blade airfoil is a form of vortex generator which improves blade efficiency.

I have about a week until I can order my wind generator. They have a charge controller on Amazon for $179 , 60 amps. If I could use that I'll get it going in March. I'm getting the 1 kw Hurricane Vortec. I had a tornado go a couple miles north of me two weeks ago. Broke about seven power poles. I can't help thinking about how much power it would have made tonight.

Don't use plumbing pipe it has a weld seam down the pipe. It will eventually cut and short out the wires. Use D,O,M seamless ore electrical pipe.

Hello. Awesome video. Can you please tell Me the dimensions and weight of the box it came In? I want to see if I can check it in on an airline.

It came in two boxes, one with the blades, about three feet long and maybe 7 pounds. And the generator was kinda heavy ide say better than 25 pounds. The box it was in was like 18x18x24 ish if I can remember. Hope that helps

Put silicone dam around inside of housing to keep water from getting in rotation bearing, drill weep hole, put tubing around varnished generator wires that come through hole, put tubing around black 3 phase wires where they penetrate stationary 2 screw lockdown, loctite 4 rods, redo all terminals within housing.,..they are not great. Unit is now ready for service 😂

Hello, what size battery bank are you connecting this to? I wondered if you were going to use it for a 12v or 24v bank. You mentioned the turbine was 24v. I bought a different turbine from Aliexpress 24v to 12v battery bank but it didn't output anything. Thanks for the video, subscribed. Toys for Watts do good videos too, thinking about an Ista Beeze now. : )

I have 8, 6 volt l-16 type Duracells. I run 24 volts.

Be careful with shorting those wires out better use some heavy end loads like heating elements in the The three contacts of the opeiste side of the stop switch and than short the three ends.. people are complaining that there gen is not producing.. bud the truth is that neodymium magnets can’t stand head ,, they get permanent demagnetized if they get to hot .. split the break lode over the break resistance you put in there.. it will stay longer 💪

Hello, can you please help me. I have bought an Instabreeze 2kw 48v and I have a chinese Hybrid Controller 2kw 48v but it seems that it doesn't charge at all. When i connect only two wires it starts spinning and It shows that is charging but when i connect all 3 it slows down (no brake) and only charge up to 50w when outside are strong winds, no matter how strong they are the turbine is not spinning fast enough. The brake works fine and I had winds where it came active. I've tried to disconnect two wires, it starts spinning very fast when i connect the other two it still charging good for another minute then it slows down again for no reason, no break active. Thank you in advance. I have struggling for 1 month and still can't fix the issue.

The controller you are using cuts in too early and limits the ability of the turbine to "spin up". You will need a different controller, one that will cut in at just the right rpm. Other wise it's just acting like a break all the time. The reason it's spins up after disconnecting one of the three phase power legs is that its limiting the breaking which in turn allows it to spin up. Hope this helps.
