Congrats on the upgrade. So happy for you. I’m seriously looking at a 100w monport with a smaller bed (can’t fit any bigger through my basement door, lol). Serious upgrade from my current 10W diode. Lightburn cam and dual air sounds awesome

You seriously won't regret it. If you have any Monport questions, feel free to shoot me a message on Instagram! And, don't forget about the discount code in the description (saves 10%, which adds up quick on these things haha)

Finally! A KZbinr’s workshop that’s just as messy as mine! Did you look at the OMTech machines before deciding on the Monport?
@CreatedWorkshop5 ай бұрын
I did! Honestly, being completely honest, my decision was made based on who would work with me. And, I’ve had a great experience with my Monport. However, OMTech is also a fantastic company with great machines! You really can’t go wrong either way. Even though I work directly with Monport and am an official partner, I will never sell out/shill for a company. Monport and OMTech are almost the same when it comes to the various lasers. Some Monport eeks out, and some ONTech eeks out.

How are you liking you Monport so far? I am about to push the button on a 130 watt here soon.
@CreatedWorkshop7 ай бұрын
Absolutely loving it. Use it almost daily and it’s not let me down one time! I need to get better at doing material tests on all materials, instead of just saying “this should work” and going for it haha. But overall it’s been fantastic!

Does the MonPort have an aluminum or steel honeycomb bed?
@CreatedWorkshop3 ай бұрын
It's steel as it's magnetic!

Got mine this week too 80w...got everything setup except connecting to my desktop. Do you recommend ethernet over usb and if so does it have to be a special ethernet cable? Also Anyway you can rush that tutorial lol I need it bad. Thanks
@CreatedWorkshop11 ай бұрын
From what I've heard, Ethernet loses no packets while USB can lose packets. It should have come with one, otherwise just any Cat5E (or newer) cable should be fine! Which tutorial specifically? I forget which ones I mentioned throughout the video as I have so many in my head 😂
@AdamsReviews11 ай бұрын
It was just how to connect it to lightburn. I plan to hook up like a 20 foot ethernet cable @@CreatedWorkshop

Great job! It looks like a good amount of charring on the cuts...any comments on that?
@CreatedWorkshop6 ай бұрын
Dialing in my focal distance (wasn't perfect stock) and adding proper shop air fixed the charring almost entirely for me. I have some more videos coming up on how to add shop air and stuff, but that's the easiest way to fix it is to have a more powerful air assist.

does this have the built in chiller?
@CreatedWorkshop4 ай бұрын
There’s a model with that, but mine doesn’t have the built in chiller. I prefer it being external though
@kendrahwiltz80744 ай бұрын
@@CreatedWorkshop thanks for replying so quickly! I'm about to purchase 80watt built in chiller. May I ask why you prefer external?
@CreatedWorkshop4 ай бұрын
@@kendrahwiltz8074 With external chillers, if your chiller goes out for whatever reason, you can simply just purchase a new one on Amazon and you're up and running in a day or two. With built-in chillers, you are at the mercy of the manufacturer with how fast they can get you a replacement. It's more of a convenience thing of being able to relatively fix it yourself instead of having to wait on others.

@@CreatedWorkshop ohhhh that makes sense!!! I hadn't thought of it that way, thanks!
