I just bought one online at HDepot, They send me a sample already assembled not in the box with rust near tire area. Must havre been outside a couple seasons. Had plenty of tiny dents & bruises on it. Thanks for your effort ill need this when i get the new one.

I bought mine through Toro online and it was shipped to my local dealer and they assembled it and delivered it to my house free of charge.

Just received my Toro 824oe from Home Depot free delivery. The box was upsidedown in the truck . When i open the box the oil was already in the machine. Should I return this unit since the machine was upsidedown and fill with oil all day in the truck? Should i worry about the engine ?

Personally I would return it and get a new one. It’s not worth trying to fix because as soon as you do start to fix it you have a harder time returning it.

@ I am waiting for a replacement. Don’t understand why they would put oil in the machine when you know people will mishandle it when delivery by freight company

Wouldn’t it be easier to cut the box away and assemble it outside the box?

Technically yes. I didn’t have the space to take it out and move the box. I was assembling it inside a box trailer.
