Power and aggression of a 2 stage, nimbility and precision of a single stage! Great review Jake! If I had to buy one snowblower for our area and only could buy one, I'd buy this. My current setup with a 2 stage and a single stage is working well!

I know these single stages are beasts in powder but I don’t believe it would be a match for the plowed in driveway snow in my town.having said that I would love a unit like this for the lighter snows it would be quick and easy to move that around..

That's exactly my point as I stated in the video I would only recommend it for heavy snow if it's being used as a side piece if it's being used all the time go bigger.

I have used mine in waist deep mounds left behind by the blows. It chewed it up like it wasn’t there

@@theturfking5290 me to and his smaller single stage toro 821rc he’ll you would be surprised at what it can handle when your next step is a shovel!

No, it didn't look like it did great at all. Lots of work to push it through. Where I live (Canada) it costs as much as a good 2 stage (Hyundai), the only reason I am considering it is that it's lighter than a 2 stage, but it should be cheaper as well, so no sale.

How do I think the personal pace system is kind of a strange idea. Prior to the 1980s There were single stage snow blowers let hand-powered Wheels with a more conventional speed selector is the model had more than one drive speed. It just seemed like when you run into something hard with the personal pace system you're going to inadvertently push the handle to go faster the situation where you do not want to go faster. Alway let the machine do the work. And you don't necessarily have to get the 2 stage there is. If you had a 26-inch summer reputable brand it should be equipped with a adequately powered engine.

There's a guy in Ontario that uses the 824 snowmaster AS A COMMERCIAL SNOWBLOWER!! He does like 300 uses a year when it snows.. His videos are amazing The snowmaster cuts through anything even 2 ft of snow.. It's the quickest fastest snowblower out there and easiest to use. He's been using it for like 6 or 7 years not really maintaining it other than the gas and oil stuff. And it still works great. It's phenomenal. What it teaches us is that it's not necessarily the one stage or two stage that makes the biggest difference IT'S ALL ABOUT BEING SELF-PROPELLED!! Self-propelled is a must And anything over 6 in.. I've seen those single stage snow blowers and own one for 13 years that was not self-propelled. Anything over 6 in your backing up plowing into it backing up plowing into it What a disaster It's like you're doing close grip push-ups.. I even did a test putting a heart strap monitor on me with a single stage and then using a dual stage or a self-propelled. THE RESULTS WERE NIGHT AND DAY. Average heart rate plowing into the snow with a single stage that is not self-propelled was around 154 With the self-propelled versions My heart rate was only 120 A HUGE DIFFERENCE WHEN IT COMES TO STRESSING YOUR BODY OUT AND HAVING A HEART ATTACK ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE OLDER!! SELF-PROPELLED SELF-PROPELLED SELF-PROPELLED!! Towards the only company that understands this and it's the only company that has single stage self-propelled as far as I know. Brilliant!!

when doing a snowblower review video, always keep the camera focused on your face as much as possible.

The personal pace system on this or any snowblower makes no sense. I've seen plenty of videos where the wheels just spin in the snow. Especially with inclines. Any decline this will take off on you.The quick shoot is great though.

It's not for everyone. Especially if you regularly experience snowmageddin. But light to moderate snows or as a side piece, the personal pace works fine for me 👍💯

I personally love it because it matches my place. It does lift when the snow is too compact for the scraper bar to get under it. It's because the machine is too light.
