Martyn I just flew ours this weekend. Really a great flyer! I love the twin 40mm series from Xfly. Haven't flown a bad one yet...and I've flown them all!

I've already got the x fly su27 and su 57,awaiting maidens.ordered the f15 today. Can't wait to fly them.

I found the SU27 to be a little underpower I know it is a twin 50 and not 40 but to me it just felt heavy.. the Twin 40s seem totally different , I love the SU57 and the sound it makes...

From your video, this looks like yet another fabulous EDF from XFly and a twin to boot. Hope it goes together well and flies as good as it looks ☺️👍🏻

Hello Martyn - it does look good! Mine is probably 3-4 weeks away yet along with the SU57! These twin 40 mm do appear to be good. The F14 is also on order but won't be here until the new year. Look forward to you giving this a maiden! The twin 40's I have are most definitely hand launchers though given that I'm grass only....

Hi Paul - the SU57 is awesome - I love the design of it and it makes a very unique Howl as it passes by, awesome... F14 should be a solid flyer, and the Xfly 40mm twins have proven to be good with hand launches, Mine have all had the landing gear removed, and tape applied to the undersides at the appropriate places- Cheers Martyn

Very tempted to get the F15. I have the Twinliner, twin 40mm which now fitted with flaps is a great flyer. Videos of the Xfly F15 look super stable and easy to hand launch. I'll be interested to see your maiden flights and what you think of it.

Hi Catherine, I have not found any videos of the Xfly F15 being Hand launched - if you see this could you put a link into your reply as I would LOVE to remove the landing gear on mine and do hand launching and belly landings They look so much better without the Gear.... Cheers Martyn

Look forward to seeing the maiden on this Martin though I’m thinking that will be 2025 maiden now. I’ve enjoyed my twin 40 F-22 this summer, much lighter flying than the Motion 64mm F-22, and even more floaty. All the best.

Hi Howie, I have replaced my 64mm F22 with a 70mm version - still in the box - I agree with you about the Xfly twin 40mm they are enjoyable and take easily to being hand launched, - Cheers Martyn

Hi Jeff - that is what I thought - I have the arrows Hobby twin 64mm version of this in the same livery - I think it looks much better than the Desert camo livery - cheers Martyn
