You can't make a racehorse out of a jackass. The sound is just as crappy and distorted, just louder. There was once a thing known as high fidelity that was sought after by consumers, and therefore manufacturers, of audio equipment. This has largely gone by the wayside, as people sacrifice sound quality for convenience, and happily walk around all day listening to over compressed, autotuned, distorted "music" through earbuds, or worse, through the half-inch speakers on their phones so we all have to hear it. No matter how pretty you think this hunk of bamboo is, using it to improve your phone's audio quality is just putting lipstick on a pig.
