Huge personal tip here. With whatever fruit I eat, I first cut up, then fully dehydrate, then chop up in a blender. For the full tea experience and a quicker option, I separate portions in tied up coffee filters. Make sure that the paper isn't bleached with chemicals though. You could always just dump the contents into the pot when ready to brew instead. I honestly don't care if I get credit for this idea or not; if it becomes a widespread trend I'll be happy. Just don't use any Apeel products or fruit with pesticides!

@elisabethrobbins1053
@elisabethrobbins1053 Ай бұрын
BINGO... Non-organic food is an oxymoron. If its NOT organic, there is 1 or more chemicals that prevent them from labeling it certified organic. Meaning your "food" is legally dangerous and they will NOT stamp their seal of approval on its purity certification. And the only way to fight pesticides is to support organic growers. That's a lost sale to the chemical farmers and more supplies for the organic farmer on his next season. Vote with your dollar since the government refuses to respect our health.

Uncle Dibbz, one of my students missed many classes. She appeared and told me she had CFS. One of the things she did was shake her herb bottle above a steaming pot. She would use the same bottle for other dishes, hot or cold. She shared with me that all of her foods were analyzed. One of the problems for her fatigue was that steam entered the herb bottles when she used them over hot foods. The steam entered the bottles and mold grew in them. Be careful.

It heals you of many sicknesses and diseases. But I also use ginger root, tumeric, garlic, honey, cinnamon, and black pepper with mine, not watermelon ....

I love this idea! Especially, since organic fruits and vegetables are so expensive. Finding ways to stretch food is essential in this economy. One question - can you freeze the tea? Like maybe in ice cube trays?

Uncle Dibbz, this is an age-old recipe in Danxhomey (Bénin), West Africa. There are 2 versions: 1 with lovely fermented maize called 'Tchapalou" served with crushed ice, & the other with pineapple (or other fruit) peel, fermented & served the same way. That moderate fermentation brings out all the nutrients. Hope you visit us someday! ❤ They' re around all street corners, kept cool in massive calabashes! Africa is blessed with wise, healthy traditions. I ❤ my country - all those who love it too!

Man I never thought of doing this. What a great way to not waste anything. I do usually dry some fruits out and blend to put in my garden soil but this is great advice.
