Awesome review!! The best on Rapid Force so far! I’ve been running this series since the v1, and I gotta say it’s the best duty holster I’ve ever used! I’ve had Safariland cracked on me in a fight during an arrest, I’ve had my g-code deformed(causing me failure to draw my duty pistol when I needed to) under a very high temperatured weather and I’ll never go back to them ever again!

Fantastic review. I really appreciated your duty firearm video as well where you went in-depth on your Glock upgrades. Interesting to see the Glock 45 with the ramjet still fits in the Glock 45 holster. I wonder if a Glock 17 with the ramjet would still fit in a Glock 17 holster since Aliengear doesn't make a Glock 34 holster.
@belladonna442Ай бұрын
Alien gear makes one holster for all the glocks so the 19 with the Ram jet only fits because the holster is fitted for a 17 so the 17 with ramjet would not fit
@treatstacticaltrainingАй бұрын
They also make an adapter, so you can keep using your QLS

Hello, I am a retired law enforcement officer and have been using the Alien Gear since March 2024. I find it to be an excellent product with great retention and fast speed. The add-ons are also very useful. I had a question about the Taq Strap setup on my low ride holster. I was unsure if I had it on correctly, as the Alien Gear commercials do not clearly show how Randy has it set up. After seeing your tan rig, I believe I have it on correctly. I also have the dynamic drop leg and am looking to purchase a few more disconnect mounts. Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards, Greg

Been using this system for the last 2 years (Gen 2 and Gen 3) with the Tac. strap. I prefer the Gen 2 a lil better than the Gen 3 as the Gen 2 has an adjustment to remove the gun holster rattle. If the Gen 3 had the same system to remove the rattle, then it would be perfect, in my opinion.

I truly believe that Alien Gear has made their mark in the holster industry as far as OWB duty holsters. I was thinking of getting the level II Rapid Force with belt locking system for my Glock 45. Any suggestions? Because im confused with the 3rd accessory option. Do i need any of the 3rd option choices?

What do you think of their new swivel drop leg? I'm not sure if i want to go that route just because there are more moving parts and potentially more failure points. This video solidified my choice, and I commend you ❤

Rather fond of mine. I own 3. 2 for 320’s and 1 gen 3 Glock fitment using a staccato. The staccato P does fit but some modification may be required. Only works with the x300 on a staccato. Fits all kinds of lights on a Glock. I mod QLS forks to work with the AD duty holsters and use a Tru North mount.. I think their triangle mount is 💩
@unclefreedom2134 ай бұрын
I've had nonissue with the QD from Alien Gear In fact I've been drug across the floor by my holster nonissue and have seen guys do pull ups off rhe mechanism also zero issue. I've never broken a qls either but the fact that neither have failed tells me it'd more than durable enough and a nonissue
@PnP-td1mt4 ай бұрын
I’ll agree to disagree.. in part because I already have a dozen other holsters with QLS forks. The stacking of their quick lock on other mounts creates a scenario where the pistol sticks out pretty far from your hip. Getting into a vehicle sucks. Even when using their mount. Their mount had an angle molded into it already. Adding their adapter to say a Safariland then adding their quick lock to their mount the gun hangs WAY out there.. to get the gun closer to the body you’ll need something like the tru north mount. Even then the stack up of adapters causes the holster to stick out further than just adapting a QLS to the AG holster.. With this stacking of adapters we have ran into issues with the triangle “male” portion staying flat. Bowing the adapter making it difficult to remove from the “female” side.. my issues aren’t with it failing..

@@redleg1360 not really. I don't see anything wrong with the leather. It held up to fl weather just fine. And going in with k9 into our swamps and it working. Is one hell of a test. Hunting in our swamps is a hell of a test. The holster i use for my blackhalk has worked for over 20 years. And it was treated a lot worse than any of my duty holsters ever were. I have never once saw a little Rock get into a working part on a leather holster to hang it up. I have with a plastic one. And there well known trainers on yt that have talked about that problem to. And BTW people still use flintlock to hunt with every year. Guess what? They still work to.
@unclefreedom2134 ай бұрын
@tbjtbj4786 you're referring to a Blackhawk serpa with those issues, not Alien Gear or Safariland no instructors like the serpa. Leather wears and causes dangerous issues. I've seen it it my leather holsters in other people's holsters it's a fact of life it's a natural product that requires user maintenance to keep it in top condition and even then they still break down. All leathwr does( made my bones as a leathersmith) if it lasted forever there would've never been a need for me to make new fenders for people
