Don’t use lye or sulphuric acid. If you live in a house older than the 90’s it’s highly likely you will have a cast iron main sewer pipe. These harsh chemicals will corrode the shit out of that pipe and it will cause a very expensive repair in a few years time.

Come on people. It says in the the name of the video that they unclog this drain in under a minute. At 52 seconds into the video, the drains are already cleared and they are showing the name of the product as displayed on the bottle so you know what to look for in the store. Sometimes is easier to unscrew the pipe underneath the sick and clean the pipe . On these days the pipes are plastic and easy to unscrew. I have done it and I found a plastic bottle cap was stuck in the pipe . Easy job … and it was the first time I did it .
