For ref }... when i find a pipe with silt in i put a board on the inlet and let the level build up, then release it and it will usually flush it out...

I hope Lucy has calmed down. Is there a possibility you had a storm coming? My sister's dog used to shake there's no tomorrow when there was a storm on its way (hours before). Supposedly we have one arriving tonight with between 50 and 100mm of rain expected. That's 2 1/2 to 5 inches to you south of the border (Canada/U.S. border).

Another culvert of which the concrete bottom is far too high. Due to the fact that there will be more water on top of that bottom, a much lower bottom would make the unclogging much easier. And debri won't get stuck that easy. But that something I wrote about a few times before.

Born and raised at a farm near fjord and with lods of rivers and trust me those have lods of dead tree and tree and natural debreee floting in them spetialy in spring and autom when the water is at it’s most and when it’s flod it’s even worse with debree
