The fog generator is a legit product, but what they don't say is that it was originally designed for facilities where you have an armed team using thermal imaging. This allows you to shoot the thieves without them seeing you approach. It's more for places like high security warehouses than a shop.

Great content. But a couple of things stood out. I suspect that several of the devices shown may push the limits on legality and human rights. Their effectiveness is not in doubt. It's their improper use or the ramifications of their existence at all. Think of how easily any innocent bystander can become victimized either accidentally or maliciously. Think of the police state that these devices do create. It is exceedingly tempting to use them in the name of safety. But as has long been stated... "Those who give up their freedoms for safety, deserve neither". BTW, deployment and use of the very first item is a perfect example. Then there are the police like rovers surveilling any premises. Just as one could theoretically use them to protect grounds such as a ranch or farm, one could easily see governments both national and local, to "ensure community safety" all in the name of the greater common good. It's not like countries like China would ever use them right? Then there's the little security drone. Talk about the movie "The Matrix". That's as far as I'll go now. The rest, as in the movie, is your choice. Will it be the blue pill? or the red pill. As for the pill itself? fuhgettahboutit... that is a foregone conclusion.

The motorcycle brake lock does not work. All you have to do is jump. The bike hit the gas and it will Snap that lock right off. You can even do it just walking the bike. The handle grip lock is a plastic or a resin and one quick grinder is going to snap that baby. Or a hot wire. The fence top with silly palm spikes is no match for a piece of metal that flattens them. Just toss a log the log will stick to them and you use the log.

Unfortunately, you cannot injure anyone trying to break into your car, your home if you are not home, or property unless you are present and threatened. There is no law protecting your property from being destroyed, what mean is that while it is illegal for them to do so… it’s only after the fact, and if the person destroying your property while you are not there get injured by something you left behind in an intent to stop said action, you could be sued. Good example of this is the guy who got tired of his mailbox getting destroyed by kids driving around and taking them out with a bat. He decided to fill it with concrete. Kids doing what kids do and got injured, he got jail time. True story, look it up.

Those spikes on top of the fence requires special permissions in Canada. They could only be used in a few high security settings, just like barbed wire. Even seemingly tame fences or fence posts that have 'spikes' on them can be illegal and f a person were to fall or slip onto the spike and it was more than likely to pierce skin, even if a person was trespassing. That is the law in Canada.

3:30 - very poor device, requiring the owner to jump through hoops to use the car. The device should not engage unless the security system is triggered - by glass breaking, door being gapped, ect. If stolen the vehicle should not 'stop' (because that might prompt the thief to return) but instead just get slower and slower over the subsequent mile until it's trapped in first gear with a max RPM of 2000 meaning the car is still operable, but limited to something like 10 mph. 4:28 - Yeah, that's effective. NOT. The thief just pushes the cart, whether the wheels are moving or not. It barely slows them down. Now, couple that with a high intensity magnet to do *exactly* what is being shown, well... that's useful. Particularly when paired with the sentry gun in the first clip.
