Thanks for your video. My husband and I were trying integrals with no luck and then found your video!

For currency, you can write USD 1 in EUR = to override the default currency

Finally someone did, what apple could not.... really informative and not like an advert but pure technical review - not easy to find though through a mass of marketing bullshit that does not explain how to type properly ABS to work on this new calc 🤣 Thanks a lot You won't find it on apple tech specs :) - maybe the final screen should be the one to start the whole story or even advertise it.

Is there no option to TYPE in your equation instead of drawing it? For instance, it's difficult to fit the expression y=((cos(x^2)+x))+ln(x) on my phone's screen. It would fit if I could type it, however.
@RobolsMath6 күн бұрын
It’s possible to just type it out. The option to insert the graph also appears on my phone.

I tried typing the equation you gave and it works okay BUT you have to remove the extra parentheses. I’m not sure why but the parentheses mess up the equation recognition

Since new update, 3:03 I cannot calculate compound interest by simply hitting the = over and over, what is an easy way to show this year by year?

Awesome review of math notes!! Thanks. I noticed that when you entered arcsin(1/2) it reported the answer in radians (not 30 deg). I can't find a way to make it report the answers in degrees initially, is there one or would you then have to convert the radians to degrees and another step?
@RobolsMath3 ай бұрын
Yup! As mentioned in the trig part, the default mode is in radians so inverse trig functions output radians by default. I haven’t figured out a way to change the setting (if it’s possible at all), but you can convert the radians to degrees in another step by writing the numerical value with the “rad” units. For example, math notes give arcsin(1/2) = 0.5236. Write “0.5236 rad = “ in another line and it will give “30.000070153 degs” Hipe this helps :)

@@RobolsMath Thanks for the reply - Maybe they will make a setting for deg/rad mode in mathnotes in a future update

I hope so! There’s a lot of room for improvement but I’m not sure if they’re willing to work on those since this is not their major thing

Thanks for the great video! Have you any suggestions to get the slider to work in Maths Notes to change a digit? I have tried hovering, tapping with an Apple Pencil and finger and even a mouse.
@RobolsMath3 ай бұрын
@@carolinebarlow4795 It should work by just tapping the number. The slider generally won't appear the first time you tap the number, so you'll to wait like 2-3 seconds before tapping again. Don't double tap either because it would highlight the number instead of suggesting a slider.

@RobolsMathАй бұрын
@@okiemuteolayinka7820 yes, it can’t do those yet. I hope they add those features but I’m not sure if they actually will. They will probably focus on other features of iPhone, not ncessarily about Math notes :(
