I didn't say I wanted out, I said I needed help. Big difference. For in every situation we are to say Alhamdullilah. And my dear brother, your statement only sets one up for disappointment and fear of not being accepted by Allah (swt). When one has 100% takwah then they understand the above ayahs of our Creator and encourages others with these ayat to lift them up in these hard times. InshaAllah It may not be my qadr to be in a "Muslim" land. And as quickly as Islam is spreading in the US Allahu alam it will be a Muslim nation one day. May Allah (swt) give us understanding of HIS words and guidance and continue to guide us on the path of Al-Islam, Hanafa. I was slightly doubtful when you mentioned the topics of them lowering the age of consent to child age but then i remembered that for us Muslims, the age of majority has always been mental maturity and physical maturity, and that mental maturity was lower in those days due to the environment and what was expected of adults. @@peach0129 There's ayah in the Quran that mention you should be of sound judgement before being considered an adult. But mostly adulthood is determined by puberty yes. Your first point is true for the maximum age, but the minimum age should also be considered. In the case of late puberty 15 is considered, and in the case of early puberty soundness of judgment is considered. Like Aisha RA she had an early puberty (relatively) but her soundness of judgment deemed her an adult in those times

You know in the Quran it ”وَمِنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا لِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةًۭ وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ٢١” this is verse 30:21. This translates to And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. So it says find mates for peace and tranquillity not only to have children.
