15 years? Do you realize how long that is? I think that’s way too much unless the driver injures another person while fleeing but most times these FHP officers pit maneuver the drivers with traffic around them! They have little regard for other drivers out there when deciding to pit so what I’m saying is that if it wasn’t for that most of these people fleeing wouldn’t have a high chance of injuring someone else. There are some that are bad drivers of course but not all realistically speaking.

Cops should not be permitted to chase anyone unless it involves human life. The dealership most definitely had her name to find her eventually. Safely. In this 20 minute clip there were numerous vehicles damaged and probably some minor injuries to innocent people going about their business. If it’s not a murder, kidnapping, assault with injuries, let the person go and wait until they’re not expecting anything.

I would say exactly the same number of people who do it now. Tough sentences don't deter these people if they think they can escape (and they all think they can). And there are tough penalties for murder but people still do it. I am not against tough sentences for people like the one in this video, but I don't think such sentences will deter others.

Second guessing here but the speeds and road conditions should have ended the pursuit. The officer trying to catch up or parallel the chase almost rear ended the officer sitting by the on ramp at a deadly high rate of speed. There was way too much traffic to justify the pursuit, or at least by other officers trying to keep up with the pursuit. It was like bumper cars.

Every body of water has had a gator from time to time, but there are often times when there's no gator. Even if a gator is in the water, it may decide not to eat you. The biggest risk of jumping in an unknown body of water is, you don't know how shallow it is. If there's something submerged right below the water line, hitting it is going to mess you up.
