This stretch of flooding is being very under reported, it stretches all the way to Fletcher Ave in some parts. Unprecedented flooding in this area.

Hurricane Milton was perfectly positioned to devastate nearly the entire state of Florida, with super intense flooding on the North side of the storm, encompassing Orlando, Ocala, Tampa and more. The devastation is going to be massive and will absolutely wreck Florida's fertilizer exporters, with huge implications on next year's farm crops in America. Engineered storms = engineered famine.

Doesn't say if this is salt water flooding or not but if it's salt water, vehicles exposed to it are often totaled.

No salt. Usf area. Old university mall on fowler from 275 to mosi

So yeah, this would be Fowler ave, and the flooding looks like it goes from somewhere between 15th and 22nd, where the cars are parked on dry land, to 30th (Bruce B Downs), but a fair ways north and south of Fowler into the neighborhoods. Definitely a couple of feet, and, based on current (6 pm) news reports, the water doesn’t appear to have receded much. Many vulnerable folks living in this area. Very sad 🙁

Be careful choosing your words "heavily flooded" it's not that bad. The drone didn't want to go further down the street because there seemed to be no flooding at the end of the street at the 2 min mark. You can still see the lines on the street and parking spaces, a little bit of flooding but not as bad as forecasted. It will be gone in 2-3 days.

World looks better with water and no traffic. Imagine how ugly and inhospitable this place is every other day of the year with 8 lanes of traffic wedged between 80 lanes of parking in 90 degree heat , all of it creating more heat to create bigger storms. Good job civil engineers, you created a self drowning society.
